Abstract

This invention relates to the field of agricultural machinery and implements, more specifically, implements for pruning perennial or annual crops. Its main advantage over previously known implements is that it allows for pruning both the sides and the top of the crop in a single implement. This enables combined pruning without the need for two separate implements or operations, significantly reducing the cost of maintaining a perennial or annual crop. The implement also features a heat exchange system and a stabilization mechanism for the cutting sections, allowing it to follow terrain irregularities and maintain the cutting sections in an essentially vertical or horizontal position, depending on the application, relative to the plant being pruned.

  1. 1. DISPOSITION INTRODUCED IN AN AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENT FOR COMBINED PRUNING comprising a chassis (01) constructed of steel beams or tubes, preceded by means of coupling to a tractor unit (T), characterized by the fact that said chassis (01) carries at the top and in a unified manner a hydraulic fluid reservoir (02), of bipartite construction, said reservoir having a feed nozzle operatively associated with a hydraulic fluid pressurization pump, from the chassis (01) projects an arm in a geometry similar to an inverted “L” or other known and suitable geometry, and in the continuous portion of the arm (03), which houses at the opposite end of the longitudinal arm (03) an upper head (05a), an arm housing (04) bearing-mounted to the respective arm which has a set of pantographic arms (05b), which carry the cutting sections (06a-06b) of the implement, the movements of the longitudinal arm (03) of the supports (04) and of the selective opening pantographic arms controlled by a set of hydraulic cylinders, electromechanical or pneumatic actuators.

The arrangement introduced in an agricultural implement for combined pruning according to claim 01 is characterized by the fact that the movement of the support (04) is automatically sensed by magnetic stimulus sensors that read the inclination of the implement, which provide the selective opening of a set of solenoid valves controlled by a manifold-type valve block or other known and suitable means for stabilizing the cutting sections (06a-06b) of the implement.

Description

FIELD INVENTION [0001] The present invention belongs to the field of agricultural machinery and implements, more specifically, implements for pruning a perennial or annual crop. Its main advantage over implements known in the state of the art is that it allows for pruning both the sides and the top of the crop in a single implement. This enables combined pruning of the crop, eliminating the need for two separate implements or operations, greatly reducing the cost of maintaining a perennial or annual agricultural crop. The implement in question offers advantages such as a heat exchange system and a mechanism for stabilizing the cutting sections, allowing the implement to follow the irregularities of the terrain while maintaining the cutting sections in an essentially vertical or horizontal position, depending on the application, in relation to the plant being pruned. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION [0002] Agricultural implements for pruning a perennial or annual agricultural crop are well known in the state of the art, notably having a chassis, constructed of steel beams or tubes, this chassis being preceded by means of coupling to a tractor unit, by means of a chassis. [0003] This chassis has a laterally articulated structure, also constructed of steel tubes or beams, which contains support and bearing means for a rotating arm. This arm, once mounted on the structure, receives hydraulic power from a fluid tank pressurized by a pump. The tank is positioned on the implement chassis, which imparts rotation to a hydraulic rotation motor. Alternatively, there are other models that operate from mechanical transmission systems, operatively associated with the power take-off (PTO) of the tractor unit to which it is coupled. [0004] The models described above are used for lateral pruning of a perennial or annual agricultural crop, while for top pruning an implement with the same characteristics is used. However, the cutting assembly, supported by a lateral structure attached to the chassis, is arranged in an essentially horizontal position, where the cutting discs and the arm that supports them are positioned over the plant, performing the cut, as already described, by the rotary movement of the arm and discs from the power transmission system. [0005] However, for crops that require top and side pruning, there is a need to purchase or rent two implements, which greatly increases the cost of managing the agricultural crop. [0006] Patent document BR1020190260440, from the same holder, entitled “DISPOSITION INTRODUCED IN AN IMPLEMENT FOR PRUNING A PERENNIAL AGRICULTURAL CROP”, reveals and claims an implement for pruning a perennial crop both at the top and laterally, however the implement revealed there envisions a small implement, whose hydraulic circuits interoperate with a tractor unit without the use of its own hydraulic system, limiting the implement's working power. [0007] Thus, the objective of the present invention is to provide an arrangement introduced into an agricultural implement for combined pruning of a perennial or annual crop that can perform the operations in a combined manner, respectively pruning the top and the side of the crop, drastically reducing the cost of management. [0008] It is also an objective of the present invention to provide an arrangement introduced in an agricultural implement for combined pruning, in which the implement has an independent hydraulic circuit, whose reservoir is located in the implement itself. [0009] It is also an objective of the present invention to provide a stabilization system that provides the implement with the necessary support in relation to uneven terrain. [00010] Finally, the objective of the present invention is to provide an arrangement introduced into an agricultural implement for combined pruning, which is easy to construct, maintain and has competitive costs. [00011] These and other advantages and benefits are achieved by providing an agricultural implement for pruning a perennial or annual crop, which consists of a chassis, constructed of steel beams or tubes, this chassis being attachable to the rear portion of a tractor unit, by means of a chassis, so that an arm is projected over the tractor unit, and on the opposite portion of the respective arm is a stabilization system, composed of a bearing that receives a shaft, whose adjustment is selectively made by means of hydraulic cylinders or other means of imparting known and suitable linear movements.
