Description

[001] The present invention relates to a solid fertilizer distributor for agricultural equipment capable of eliminating the incidence of contamination in the distributor's bearings and seals, increasing the equipment's service life and reducing maintenance needs, as well as requiring fewer components in its construction. [002] This document claims priority to Patent Application BR102019023244-7 of 05/11/2019. Description of the State of the Art [003] In the prior art, fertilizer metering assemblies are known, containing a hopper and a screw shaft supported on a bearing or bushing, this shaft having a straight bevel gear at one end and the fertilizer outlet at the other end. The movement of the fertilizer inside the metering unit is made by the screw that propels the granulated fertilizer to the outlet end. [004] This known state-of-the-art configuration brings with it the problem of premature wear of the bushing or bearing that supports the auger assembly, due to contamination from the granulated fertilizer itself and its residue. This is because the shaft bearing is located in the portion of the shaft that is inside the metering device. [005] In this sense, the frequent use of sealing and shielding has been observed in order to protect bearings and bushings from excessive/premature wear, so that distributor maintenance occurs during machine downtime. Examples of the state of the art include documents PI8301401; PI0205032; PI0402211; MU9000366; MU89002718; MU8402924; MU9000636; MU8402594; MU8602761; BR202016000415; BR102016017868; BR102013022588 and BR202014026930, among others, reveal fertilizer distribution mechanisms commonly equipped with gears (generally bevel gears - pinions with straight teeth at 90°) that are exposed to all sorts of weather and dirt (dust, moisture, fertilizer residue, debris, etc.), which compromise their lifespan and proper functioning. Furthermore, relative clearances occur, resulting in undesirable "jerks/jolts" in the transmission of rotary movements and in the fertilizer conveyor screw itself, generating heterogeneity in application, in addition to having a high acquisition and maintenance cost. [006] Reference is also made to document BR102015014035, which reveals a fertilizer distributor with a construction that includes orifices for contaminant discharge at the interface between its reduction assembly and the metering device. However, in this configuration revealed in this document, the assembly that houses the output shaft and the reducer bearings is also responsible for generating the space that captures and discharges the contaminants, which is contrary to the objective of not exposing the reduction assembly to the elements. Furthermore, because the reducer itself constitutes this contaminant discharge space, the assembly and disassembly of the assembly to access this space are too complex, requiring the disassembly of the entire reducer to access the space. Thus, the maintenance and cleaning of this space become time-consuming and laborious. Additionally, because the reducer itself acts as the contaminant discharge point, and because the reducer and the doser are located quite close together, the space for contaminant dispersion is too small, greatly limiting the distributor's ability to disperse dirt from the environment and the fertilizer. Objectives of the Invention [007] A primary objective of the present invention is to provide a solid fertilizer distributor for agricultural equipment that eliminates the incidence of contamination in the bearing assembly. [008] A second objective of the present invention is to provide a solid fertilizer distributor for agricultural equipment that has a simpler construction and uses fewer components compared to existing distributors. [009] A third objective of the present invention is to provide a solid fertilizer distributor for agricultural equipment with a desirable service life and lower maintenance complexity. [0010] A fourth objective of the present invention is to provide a solid fertilizer distributor for agricultural equipment equipped with a contaminant dispersion and expulsion chamber. [0011] A fifth objective of the present invention is to provide a solid fertilizer distributor for agricultural equipment equipped with a contaminant dispersion and expulsion chamber that has an adequate extension for the accumulation and expulsion of weather and dirt that may be contained in the fertilizer, or even come from the distributor's work environment. [0012] A sixth objective of the present invention is to provide a solid fertilizer distributor for agricultural equipment equipped with a contaminant dispersion and expulsion chamber that has an easily assembled and disassembled construction, allowing easy access for maintenance and cleaning. Brief Description of the Invention [0013] The objectives of the present invention are achieved by means of a solid fertilizer distributor for agricultural equipment comprising a transmission box
