Abstract

MOUNTING SYSTEM FOR FERTILIZER LINES OF AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENTS. The system is applied to implements comprising a central module and lateral planting modules that carry fertilizer lines (LA), each having an elongated structure (10) in which a mounting support (20) is mounted, carrying an agricultural tool (FA) in the form of a furrow opener (S) or double disc (DD). The mounting support (20) can be rotated around a vertical or horizontal geometric axis of support, between a working position, in which it is locked with the working tool (FA) aligned longitudinally with the elongated structure (10), and a retracted transport position to which the mounting support (20) is rotated and in which it is locked with the agricultural tool (FA) displaced to either side or up or down the fertilizer line (LA).

Description

Field of invention [001] The present invention relates to agricultural implements, such as seeders, with the chassis defining a central module to be coupled to a tractor vehicle and at whose ends are articulated side modules that can be moved between a working position, aligned with the central module, in a direction transverse to the working movement of the implement, and a retracted transport position, in which said side modules are angularly and horizontally displaced forward, towards the front region of the chassis of the central module, to reduce the width of these implements when they are moved out of the soil cultivation area. [002] In particular, the invention relates to a mounting system applied to the fertilizer lines of the side modules of said agricultural implements, when said side modules are moved to the retracted transport position, next to the front region of the central module chassis, and which presents, in relation to known systems, the possibility of reducing, in a simple and quick way, the length of the fertilizer lines, allowing the latter, even without being raised to a retracted transport position, as occurs with planting lines, not to exceed the maximum width allowed for the implement in the retracted transport condition. Background of the invention [003] As is known in the art, existing agricultural implements and machinery seek to meet the maximum transport width of 3.2m on highways, as per current legislation, to meet the demand of customers who wish to transport their implements and machinery quickly between properties or even within the property, without the need for laborious and costly component disassembly operations. [004] It is known that one of the challenges in meeting the aforementioned width limit specification for transporting agricultural implements of the type comprising a central module supported on its respective central wheelsets and coupled to a tractor vehicle by means of a hitch, and at least two side modules supported on their respective side wheelsets and movable between a working position and a retracted transport position, lies in how the necessary reduction in the width of the implement in its retracted transport condition can be achieved through simple and safe operations. [005] In known solutions, the reduction in implement width in the retracted transport position is achieved not only by moving the side modules forward and towards the front head of the implement, but also by raising the planting lines from a working position to a retracted and raised position. [006] It turns out that raising only the planting rows to the retracted transport position does not prevent the longitudinal extension of the fertilizer rows, of the aforementioned side modules, from constituting an impediment to obtaining the desired reduction in implement width to the values allowed by legislation, this due to the usual lag in relation to the other planting rows, in order to obtain good operational performance of the implement, under conditions of dense straw. Summary of the invention [007] Due to the aforementioned inconveniences related to the solutions applied to reduce the width of agricultural implements of the type considered herein, when taken to a retracted transport position, the present invention aims to provide a mounting system for fertilizer lines, at least for the side modules of said implements, to allow for the simple and quick reduction of the length of the fertilizer lines, which, even without being raised to a retracted transport position, as occurs with planting lines, do not exceed the maximum width allowed for the implement in the retracted transport condition.
