Abstract

This Invention Patent relates to a cover for use in access to pump rooms and other areas, developed for use in planned swimming pool areas and similar applications, with applications in civil and electrical engineering. It is characterized by being basically composed of a cover ring (1) with a channel to direct water to the sewer system. The cover can be installed at ground level and in locations exposed to weather and all climatic changes. The cover (2) is made of non-slip reliefs for aesthetic purposes, as well as ensuring safety for those walking on it. It also has an opening system with nylon pulleys (6-7) that slide on rails fixed to the cover ring (1), which is manually pulled by a hook (3). It also has impact rubbers (5) to cushion the closing and prevent breakage of the piece. Hook (3) which has a simple shape to remove the cover so that it can be pulled and opened avoiding accidents from falling like traditional hinged covers, in addition to allowing a system that can be removed entirely, thus obtaining a larger area in case of maintenance of the pump room and also for maintenance of pool equipment.

  1. 1. “HONEYCOMB DRAWER/RETRACTABLE COVER FOR APPLICATION IN MACHINE ROOM ACCESS AND OTHERS”, characterized by being basically constituted of a cover ring (1) with a channel to direct water to the sewage system, which can be installed at ground level and in places where they will be exposed to the action of time and all climatic changes; cover (2) which is constituted of non-slip reliefs for aesthetic purposes, in addition to guaranteeing safety to those who walk on the cover, is also equipped with an opening system that is provided with nylon pulleys (6 - 7) that slide on rails fixed to the cover ring (1) which is pulled manually by a hook (3), in addition to being equipped with impact rubbers (5) to cushion the closing and prevent breakage of the part; hook (3) which has a simple shape to remove the cover so that it can be pulled and opened avoiding accidents by falling like traditional hinged covers, in addition to allowing a system that can be removed entirely, thus obtaining a larger area in case of maintenance of the machine room and also for maintenance of pool equipment.

Description

[001] This patent refers to a cover for use in access to machine rooms and other areas, developed for use in planned swimming pool areas and similar applications, extending to the fields of civil and electrical engineering, characterized by having functional improvements, as well as fundamental requirements of novelty and inventive step, thus providing greater safety for users. [002] Currently, there are types of lids on the market with diverse applications that are equipped with hinges to allow them to be opened. There are drawbacks to using these models, precisely because they are hinged, as serious accidents can occur due to users tripping over these hinges and because they are not equipped with better improvements. [003] In order to solve such inconveniences, the present invention was developed, through which a model with greater efficiency and convenience can be offered, allowing the lid to slide on the rim and facilitating handling and removal, which has a hook that attaches to the lid so that it can be pulled and opened, avoiding accidents from falling like traditional hinged lids, thus providing a greater degree of efficiency in terms of improving user safety. [004] The said lid is basically made up of an opening system that is provided with nylon pulleys that slide on rails fixed to a ring that is coupled to a lid that is pulled manually by a hook, in addition to being equipped with impact rubbers to cushion the closing and prevent breakage of the part. Designed with an innovative design, it results in a harmonious whole with a very peculiar and, above all, characteristic appearance. In addition to the construction aspect, the model stands out for its versatility and ease of use.
