Description
[001] The present invention relates to a device for adjusting the angular position of disc sections of agricultural equipment, and to agricultural equipment containing said adjustment device. Description of the State of the Art [002] Disc cutting equipment for working in the soil is known in the state of the art, including equipment with sections or side frames of cutting discs that have angle adjustment mechanisms for the discs to change the angle of cutting the soil. [003] However, disc equipment known in the state of the art suffers from the problem of lateral deviation tendency incident on the equipment, as it encounters different resistances from the soil or different volumes of vegetation remaining on the terrain. [004] For example, document US8534374 reveals the possibility of balancing these forces, but only in each "half" of the equipment. In other words, it is observed in US8534374 that all disc sections of a side chassis and half of the central chassis are facing in the same direction (angled to the right or left) in relation to the longitudinal center of the equipment. [005] In another similar example, the mechanism disclosed in document US2024/0065130 also only allows the angling of the sections next to the side chassis in one direction and therefore incurs the same problem discussed above. Objectives of the Invention [006] A primary objective of the present invention is to propose a disc angle adjustment device for agricultural equipment that allows for the local mitigation, i.e., within the respective working width of each chassis or frame, of the tendency for lateral deviations affecting the equipment as it encounters different resistances from the soil or different volumes of remaining vegetation on the terrain. [007] A second objective of the present invention is to provide a disc angle adjustment device for agricultural equipment in which the pivoting or articulation of the disc sections of each chassis forms vertices converging towards the center of the respective chassis. [008] A third objective of the present invention is to provide a disc angle adjustment device for agricultural equipment that uses a reduced number of components compared to the prior art. Brief Description of the Invention [009] The present invention relates to an angular adjustment device for agricultural equipment discs comprising a chassis, a first and second front disc sections associated respectively with a first and second rear disc sections in an articulated manner by means of respective sets of arms, the first and second front disc sections being articulatedly associated with each other by means of a sliding support, the sliding support being associated with an actuating cylinder and slidingly associated with a front profile of the chassis, the sliding support sliding on the front profile by means of selective actuation of the actuating cylinder. [0010] In one embodiment, each section of front and rear discs comprises a respective linkage, each of which is rotatably associated with respective chassis anchor points. [0011] In one embodiment, the articulators of the front disc sections each comprise a horizontal body from which vertical projections extend with holes at their ends for receiving a horizontal pin, each horizontal body comprising a central hole for receiving a vertical pin provided with a plate at its end. [0012] In one embodiment, each vertical pin of each articulator of the front disc sections is associated by its upper end to its respective chassis anchor point, the articulators of the front disc sections being associated with a respective structure of the first and second front disc sections by inserting the respective structure between the plate and the horizontal pin. [0013] In one embodiment, the articulators of the rear disc sections comprise a vertical pin associated at its upper end with its respective chassis anchor points and associated with a through hole disposed in a respective structure of the first and second rear disc sections. [0014] In one embodiment, the sliding support comprises an upper portion and a lower portion connected to each other by means of vertical pins, the sliding support being configured to receive the front profile between the upper and lower portions and selectively slide on sliding plates associated with the upper and lower portions of the front profile. [0015] In one embodiment, each set of arms comprises a front arm and a rear arm associated with their respective front and rear disc sections, each set of arms comprising an extension actuator associated at its ends with its respective front and rear arms. [0016] In one embodiment, each set of arms is associated at its ends with structural projections of the front and rear disc sections, the structural projections being arranged close to the central ends of each front and rear disc section. [0017] In one embodiment, the actuator cylinder comprises a set of stop pads for limiting the stroke of action of the actu
