Description

Technical Field of the Invention [0001] This patent application pertains to the segment of systems and devices for environmental, climate and air quality pollutant monitoring. Background of the Invention [0002] Currently, 90% of the world's population lives in places where air quality exceeds the limits recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO). It is estimated that a considerable number of natural deaths may be related in some way to air pollution, as well as to exposure to particles of solid or liquid material present in the air. [0003] In this way, monitoring air pollution levels with the aim of communicating and promoting data-driven public policies becomes extremely important. [0004] Some solutions aimed at solving the problems discussed here were found in the state of the art, described below. [0005] US invention patent 11680935 discloses systems and methods for continuously monitoring residential air quality and providing trend-based analysis with respect to various air pollutants. The system comprises an air quality monitor located in a residence, wherein the air quality monitor is configured to measure the level of an air pollutant. The system also includes a server that communicates with the air quality monitor and is configured to generate a unique environmental fingerprint associated with the residence. [0006] US patent 11366057 discloses an air quality monitoring system to enable large-scale deployment of multiple monitors. The system can enable the identification of a target emission from a plurality of potential sources at a location based on plume model simulation. Plume model simulation can take into account various simulation parameters, including wind speed and direction. In addition, methods for determining a plume flux of emissions at a location and methods for transmitting data from an air quality monitor are disclosed. [0007] US patent 11137163 discloses a method for managing air quality comprising a plurality of air quality parameters for an environment, wherein sensor data are generated by one or more environmental quality monitoring devices located in the environment. It thus predicts an adverse air quality event based on the sensor data and automatically controls one or more devices to mitigate the adverse air quality event. The environmental quality monitoring device may include a housing, a plurality of sensors in the housing, a network communication device configured to communicate sensor data over a network, and an alert configured to indicate an environmental quality score of the environment. [0008] The invention patent US11112395 presents a networked air quality monitoring system. The information can be used by a user to make decisions about the frequency of specific areas based on the results, or to alert them about changes in area conditions, so that the user can act before local conditions change. [0009] However, existing solutions for monitoring pollutants lack the combined possibility of customization according to the needs of local investigations; internal data storage; power supply via internal battery, electricity or photovoltaic panel; low weight; and portability. Existing equipment can collect a limited number of parameters and generally lacks a transmission solution, often depending exclusively on electricity to operate. Furthermore, they do not allow customization, due to the needs of local investigations or even the need to repair components without having to replace the entire monitoring device. Summary of the Invention [0010] In this sense, this patent application presents a new system and device for environmental, climate and air quality pollutant monitoring. Description of the Figures [0011] Figure 1: Perspective view of a configuration of the environmental monitoring device showing the front (1), back (2) and bottom (3). [0012] Figure 2: Internal view of the front part (1), equipped with one or more support elements for the plate (4) and one or more locking elements (5). [0013] Figure 3: Internal view of the rear part (2), equipped with one or more fastening elements on the support (6), one or more battery fastening elements (7) and one or more locking elements (5’). [0014] Figure 4: Internal view of the lower part (3), equipped with recesses to allow the entry of connections and cables, as well as to expose the external environment to the sensors. [0015] Figure 5: Top view of a board for mounting electronic components in its front view. [0016] Figure 6: Top view of a board for mounting electronic components in its rear view. Detailed Description of the Invention [0017] The present detailed description of the invention establishes some, non-limiting, definitions of the main terminologies and technical characteristics employed throughout this patent application, as well as providing examples of some embodiments of the present invention so that it can be reproduced by a person skilled in the art.
