Description

INTRODUCTION [001] This patent relates to the technical field of vehicle transport systems in general, more specifically to a mechanical system for transporting pets in passenger spaces in vehicles and aircraft which, according to its general characteristics, has as its basic principle the formation of a mechanical transport system for animals in its own specific structure, of the mechanical type, located by means of a mechanical assembly structured on the seat, inside the vehicles and aircraft, and with an anchoring base fixed on the inner seat, a comfort platform fitted on the anchoring base, for the support of the pet, and a safety harness/chest harness fixed both around the pet and on the comfort platform, for anchoring the pet, with a view to enabling, in an extremely practical, safe and precise way, a complete optimization in the efficiently ergonomic transport procedures of pets through efficient, safe and comfortable retention in the passenger spaces inside the passenger compartment of the main current means of transportation. with emphasis on motor vehicles and aircraft, both in successful journeys and in the event of accidents, and based on a mechanical system for transporting pets that is robust, safe and versatile. [002] With a specific design and shape and easy access for better adaptation and user safety, practical handling and functionality features, very affordable costs and, due to its general characteristics and dimensions, easily adaptable to a wide range of pets, vehicles, aircraft and means of transport in general, regardless of most of the specificities they may present. [003] In the modern and recent evolution of family structures, there is a veritable large-scale replacement of children, human beings, by pets. These pets have been receiving increasing care that is becoming more and more like that traditionally given to children and babies, not by chance having several equivalent needs. [004] One of the main nuances is the efficient, safe and comfortable transport of these lives within the main existing means of transportation, both in motor vehicles, such as cars and buses, and in airplanes and other transport, private or collective, with similar passenger spaces. [005] With the increasingly intense interaction between people/guardians and their pets, these animals have become increasingly integrated into social interactions, accompanying their guardians in transit through cities, roads, and, in very rapid demand, even on air transport. [006] Among all the main species of pets, which currently encompass an ever-wider range, the prevalence of one accompanying their owners in the main means of locomotion is notorious, namely, the canine, which stems from its physical and psychological specificities of interaction and adaptation to the main human routines, among which, locomotion over longer distances. [007] Specifically regarding air transport, there is increasing public awareness of numerous cases of pets being lost, misplaced, or, in extreme cases, killed because they are shipped and treated as regular cargo by some airlines. [008] Currently, unfortunately, no mechanical system or even device found on the market offers any truly effective protection in the event of collisions up to sixty-four kilometers per hour, both for the pet itself and for other people inside and even outside any of the most commonly used public or private means of transport. [009] Although some pets and infants may have similar weights or measurements, they have quite different body structures and weight distribution. Furthermore, even a single species, such as the canine, for example, can exhibit extremely significant differences in weight and measurements among the numerous existing breeds. [0010] This notorious biotypic divergence between a pet and a child prevents current and efficient vehicle transport devices for children and babies from being equally used for animal transport. Furthermore, behaviors and psychological needs also present peculiar distinctions, demanding that the truly safe transport of pets, both for the pets themselves and for the humans around them, also address and consider these other key aspects involved in the effective achievement of this objective. [0011] Initially, it should be noted that, since this is a market focused on specific solutions for transporting pets on the main means of transportation, there are currently several systems and devices available and widely used. However, all of these present a high degree of insecurity, both for the pet itself and for the people around it, as well as discomfort, especially for the pets themselves. [0012] Thus, although the state of the art includes some types of widely known and applied devices, the vast majority offer practicality to the pet owner, aiming almost exclusively at facilitating the partial restraint of the pet on the vehicle seat, but with some effectiveness only on journeys without any incidents of abrupt inertial interrup
