DETAILED DESCRIPTION [0008] The following provides more detailed descriptions of various concepts related to, and implementations of, methods and apparatus of a cover set for an internal combustion engine system. The various concepts presented above and discussed in more detail below can be implemented in various ways, as the concepts described are not limited to any specific method of implementation. The examples of specific implementations and applications are provided primarily for illustrative purposes. [0009] Internal combustion (IC) engine systems (e.g., hydrogen IC engine systems, etc.) include a gear housing defining a space for various system components such as a fuel pump, pump gears, and a pump shaft. The gear housing is enclosed by a gear plate defining at least one opening (e.g., hole, bore, etc.) to access various components within the gear housing. A cover is placed over the opening to prevent debris from flowing through the opening into the space defined by the gear housing. [0010] The implementations here refer to a cover assembly for a mo
