Description

[001] This application claims priority to Chinese Patent Application No. 201610670036.X, filed with the Chinese Patent Office on August 12, 2016, and entitled "INFORMATION TRANSMISSION METHOD, TERMINAL DEVICE AND NETWORK DEVICE", which is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety. TECHNICAL FIELD [002] This application relates to the field of communications and, in particular, to a method of transmitting information, a terminal device, and a network device. FUNDAMENTALS [003] Spectrum is a very valuable resource in wireless communications. An existing communication system typically operates at a carrier frequency below 3 GHz. With the emergence of smart terminals, especially video services, current spectrum resources are finding it difficult to meet the explosively growing user demand for capacity. A high-frequency band with greater available bandwidth, particularly a millimeter-wave band, is gradually becoming a candidate frequency band for a next-generation communication system. [004] Another advantage of using the high-frequency band can be greatly reducing the size of a multi-antenna setup, thus facilitating site acquisition and deployment of more antennas. However, unlike an operating band in a current system, such as an LTE system, the high-frequency band results in a relatively large path loss. In particular, impacting factors such as atmosphere and vegetation further increase radio propagation loss. [005] For example, for transmission of a common downlink channel or a common reference signal, to overcome the relatively large propagation loss, a common signal/common channel transmission mechanism based on beamforming technology is introduced, to obtain a relatively large antenna gain, as well as to compensate for the loss of a common channel/common signal propagation process. [006] When common channel transmission (such as a broadcast channel, a synchronization signal, or system information) is based on beamforming technology, a terminal device needs to separately demodulate a plurality of received system information segments, and this can result in unnecessary repeated demodulation by the terminal device. Furthermore, when user equipment is between two formed beams, demodulation based only on the received system information once can result in unsatisfactory demodulation performance. SUMMARY [007] The embodiments of this application provide a method of information transmission, a terminal device and a network device. The method may enable the terminal device to learn, according to the indication information, whether the content of the system information is the same, and processes the system information with the same content, thus avoiding or alleviating a state-of-the-art problem of repeated demodulation or unsatisfactory demodulation performance. [008] According to a first aspect, a method of transmitting information is provided, and the method includes: receiving, by a terminal device, indication information sent by a network device, wherein the indication information includes information used to indicate content of M system information parts; receiving, by the terminal device, the M system information parts sent by the network device; determining, by the terminal device, at least two system information parts with the same content in the M system information parts based on the indication information; and processing, by the terminal device, the at least two system information parts, wherein M is a positive integer greater than or equal to 2. [009] Therefore, in this embodiment of this application, the terminal device can learn, based on the indication information, whether the content of the system information is the same, and process the system information with the same content, thus avoiding or alleviating a state-of-the-art problem of repeated demodulation or unsatisfactory demodulation performance. [0010] It should be understood that the indication information sent by the network device may include information used to indicate the content of N system information pieces. The indication information received by the terminal device may include information used to indicate the content of M system information pieces. [0011] It should be understood that N can be a positive integer greater than or equal to M. Specifically, when N is greater than M, the network device can send the indication information to a plurality of terminal devices, and therefore the indication information sent by the network device can include the information used to indicate the content of the N system information pieces corresponding to the plurality of terminal devices. The indication information received by the terminal device can be used to indicate the information about the content of the M system information pieces corresponding to the terminal device. When N is equal to M, the M system information pieces mentioned here can be M system information pieces that can be received by the terminal device. The indication info
