Description

CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED REQUESTS [0001] [0001] This application claims the benefit of provisional application Serial No. 62/797.124, filed on 25 January 2019, provisional application Serial No. 62/896.762, filed on 6 September 2019 and provisional application Serial No. 62/916.764 filed on 17 October 2019, each of which is incorporated herein by reference. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION [0002] A common problem in the use of conventional rheology modifiers in agricultural formulation is agglomeration when tank mixes are generated with undiluted liquid fertilizers, micronutrients, and other highly ionic media. The solids from such agglomeration can cause equipment clogging, resulting in undesirable premature material separation. Physical incompatibility occurs most frequently when the tank mix forms agglomerates due to, for example, coagulation, flocculation, gelation, or crystal precipitation. The mixtures may form hard clumps or oil globules. Physical incompatibility presents difficulties, as the defective tank mix clogs conventional filters and spray nozzles. BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION [0003] In some respects, the embodiments in this document refer to compositions comprising a capsule suspension (SC) of a mixture of chloroxyphos and bifenthrin in a liquid phase, the mixture being disposed within an encapsulation wall, the composition further comprising a polymeric dispersant, microfibrillated cellulose and optionally ethanolamine. [0004] In some respects, the embodiments in this document refer to compositions comprising an agricultural agent in particulate form and microfibrillated cellulose, wherein the particulate form is selected from the group consisting of a liquid droplet, a gel or a combination thereof, and wherein the agricultural agent in particulate form is part of an emulsifiable concentrate (EC), a capsule suspension (SC), a suspoemulsion (SE), a microemulsion (ME) or an oil dispersion (OD). [0005] In some respects, the embodiments in this document refer to methods of treating a crop comprising providing a composition comprising an agricultural agent in particulate form and microfibrillated cellulose, wherein the particulate form is selected from the group consisting of a liquid droplet, a gel or a combination thereof, and wherein the agricultural agent in particulate form is part of an emulsifiable concentrate (EC), a capsule suspension (SC), a suspoemulsion (SE), a microemulsion (ME) or an oil dispersion (DO), the method comprising adding to the composition a fertilizer and water to provide a mixture and applying the mixture to a crop. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION [0006] The present embodiments employ microfibrillated cellulose (MFC) in conjunction with polymeric dispersants to reduce or eliminate the need for conventional rheology modifiers in agricultural suspension formulations. Although certain embodiments refer to specific insecticide capsule suspension formulations, those skilled in the art will recognize the ability to apply the embodiments to other types of agricultural active compounds and particulate forms, as described herein. [0007] Surprisingly, it has been found that rheology modifier CMF provides stable capsule suspension formulations, even in the presence of highly ionic media or in the presence of multivalent cations that are not compatible with conventional rheology modifiers such as xanthan gum and guar gum. These and other advantages will be evident to those skilled in the art. I. Definitions [0008] The abbreviations used in this document generally have their conventional meanings within chemical and biological techniques. Unless specifically indicated otherwise, all technical and scientific terms used in this document have the same meaning as normally understood by those skilled in the art. Furthermore, any method or material similar or equivalent to a method or material described in this document may be used in the practice of the embodiments disclosed in this document. For the purposes of the present embodiments, the following terms are defined. [0009] As used in this document, the term “about” means a range of values that includes the specified value, which a person of ordinary skill in the art would consider reasonably similar to the specified value. In embodiments, “about” means within one standard deviation using measurements generally acceptable in the art. In embodiments, about means a range that extends to +/- 10% of the specified value. In embodiments, about includes the specified value. [0010] “Composition” as used in this document is intended to cover a product comprising the specified ingredients in the specified quantities, as well as any product that results, directly or indirectly, from the combination of the specified ingredients in the specified quantities. [0011] As used in this document, “agricultural agent” refers to a compound, biological agent or substrate that has any effect on agricultural crops, including agriculturally active compou
