Abstract

STORAGE BATTERY SCREW TERMINAL. A storage battery screw terminal, relating to the technical field of connecting automotive electrical devices, including a terminal (100) which includes a storage battery pole connection unit (101). Compressible units (102) are provided on two sides of one opening end of the storage battery pole connection unit (101). A cable connection unit (104) is provided on the other opening end of the storage battery pole connection unit (101). The storage battery screw terminal further includes a bolt (200) with a pressure unit (201), and one side of the bolt (200) is provided with a rotary unit (202), wherein the compressible unit (102) is rotatably connected to the rotary unit (202), and the rotary unit (202) is provided with a locking unit (203). The storage battery screw terminal is convenient to operate and has high work efficiency; tool-free disassembly and assembly are achieved when connecting the storage battery post, eliminating the need for a screw tightening tool, making the application flexible and reducing assembly costs.

  1. 1. Storage battery screw terminal comprising: a terminal (100) comprising a storage battery terminal connection unit (101), a first and a second compressible units (102) being provided on two sides of one opening end of the storage battery terminal connection unit (101) and a cable connection unit (104) being provided on the other opening end of the storage battery terminal connection unit (101); a bolt (200) comprising a pressing unit (201) and a first and a second rotating unit (202) provided in the pressing unit (201), wherein the first and second compressible units (102) are rotatably connected to the first rotating unit (202) and the rotating unit (202) is provided with a locking unit (203), which is located outside the first compressible unit (102); characterized in that the bolt (200) is externally provided with a protective cover (300) adapted to the pressing unit (201) and the protective cover (300) is fixedly connected to the bolt (200); when the bolt (200) is rotated towards the terminal (100), the locking unit (203) locks the terminal (100) with a storage battery post compressing the compressible unit (102); A stop unit (103) is provided outside the second compressible unit (102) and projects from an outer side surface of the storage battery terminal connection unit (101) towards the second rotating unit (202), the stop unit (103) and the locking unit (203) are arranged on opposite sides and, when the gland (200) is rotated, the second rotating unit (202) abuts a side of the stop unit (103) that faces away from the storage battery terminal connection unit (101) to form a limiting engagement between the stop unit (103) and the second rotating unit (202), to prevent the gland (200) from contacting the storage battery post.
  2. 2. Storage battery screw terminal, according to claim 1, characterized in that a position where the locking unit (203) comes into contact with the compressible unit (102) is a transition corner, whereby the opening between the compressible units (102) is gradually narrowed by compression.
  3. 3. Storage battery screw terminal, according to claim 1, characterized in that the protective cap (300) is made of a rigid flame retardant material.
  4. 4. Storage battery screw terminal, according to claim 1, characterized in that the terminal (100) is integrally formed.
  5. 5. Storage battery screw terminal, according to claim 1, characterized in that the bolt (200) is integrally formed.
  6. 6. Storage battery screw terminal, according to claim 1, characterized in that the pressure unit (201) has either a circular or polygonal shape.
  7. 7. Storage battery screw terminal, according to claim 6, characterized in that the pressure unit (201) is rectangular in shape.
  8. 8. Storage battery screw terminal, according to claim 7, characterized in that the cable connection unit (104) comprises at least one wiring hole and the direction of the wiring hole is adjusted according to an output line direction.
  9. 9. Storage battery screw terminal, according to claim 8, characterized in that an adjustment range of the wiring hole direction is from 0° to 180° in a horizontal plane where the cable connection unit is located and/or 0° to 180° in a vertical plane where the cable connection unit is located.
  10. 10. Storage battery screw terminal, according to claim 8, characterized in that the cable connection unit (104) is connected to a cable by crimping, soldering or screwing.
  11. 11. Storage battery screw terminal, according to claim 10, characterized in that the first and second compressible units (102) are articulated to the first and second rotating units (202) by a rotating shaft (400).

Description

[0001] The present invention claims priority to Chinese Patent Application No. 202021561663.8, filed on July 31, 2020, and entitled “STORAGE BATTERY SCREW TERMINAL”, which is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety. TECHNICAL FIELD [0002] The present invention relates to a technical field of connecting automotive electrical devices and, in particular, to a quick-replaceable storage battery screw connection terminal. FUNDAMENTALS [0003] The automotive storage battery screw terminal is an indispensable component for connecting the automotive wiring harness to the storage battery and is required for all automobiles. The important function of the automotive storage battery screw terminal is to achieve the connection between the vehicle's entire wiring harness and the storage battery, so that the electrical functions of the entire vehicle can operate normally. It is necessary to install the storage battery screw reliably, safely, and conveniently. The existing storage battery screw terminal is first placed into a sleeve on a storage battery post and then tightened and secured with a screw, or when the storage battery screw terminal needs to be disassembled to cut off the power supply in case of maintenance or transport of the entire vehicle, the operation must be completed with a tool, which is very inconvenient and poses a safety risk in direct line work during maintenance. SUMMARY [0004] Addressing the shortcomings of the prior art, the problem to be solved here is to provide a storage battery screw terminal that is convenient and can be disassembled and assembled without tools, so as to overcome the technical defect caused by the fact that the existing storage battery screw terminal needs to be operated by a screw tightening tool during disassembly and assembly.
