Abstract

HORIZONTAL FORMING DEVICE. The present invention relates to a horizontal forming device, in particular, for automated horizontal flow machines, which has a first forming unit (12), in particular, without rollers, more in particular, a forming shoulder, and with at least one support unit (78), which are configured to form a web of packaging material (14), more in particular, a paper web, into a tube of packaging material (16), wherein the forming unit (12) and the support unit (78) together delimit a guide gap (122, 124), through which the web of packaging material (14) can be guided. Claims (11)

  1. 1. Horizontal forming device, in particular, for automated horizontal flow machines, with at least one forming unit, in particular, without rollers (12), in particular, a forming shoulder, and with at least one support unit (78), which are configured to form a web of packaging material (14), in particular, a paper web, into a tube of packaging material (16), wherein the forming unit (12) and the support unit (78) together delimit a guide gap (122, 124) that the web of packaging material (14) can be guided, characterized in that at least one compensation unit (126) is configured to movably support the forming unit (12) and/or the support unit (78) so that, at least during one forming of the tube of packaging material (16), the forming unit (12) and the support unit (78) are movable relative to each other, in particular, to allow movement compensation of the forming unit (12) and/or the support unit (78) in relation to each other during the forming of the packaging material tube (16).

Horizontal forming device, according to claim 1, characterized in that the compensation unit (126) is configured to movably support at least one forming element (34, 36) of the forming unit (12) and/or at least one support element (128, 130) of the support unit (78) by means of at least one spring-preloaded compensation element (132, 134) of the compensation unit (126).
  3. 3. Horizontal forming device, according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the compensation unit (126) comprises at least one gear (136, 138), in particular, a guide gear, for implementing a compensation movement of the forming unit (12) and/or the support unit (78).
  4. 4. Horizontal forming device, according to claim 3, characterized in that the gear (136, 138) is configured for the implementation of a compensating movement along at least two directions (140, 142) that extend transversely to each other.

Horizontal forming device, according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the compensation unit (126) comprises at least one preload element (144, 146), in particular, a spring element, which creates a preload force acting against a compensation movement of the forming unit (12) and/or the support unit (78).

Horizontal forming device, according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that at least one adjustment unit (30, 32) and at least one support surface (22), in particular, a work plate, on which the products (24) to be packaged can be transported, the adjustment unit (30, 32) being configured to support the forming unit (12), the support unit (78) and the compensation unit (126) so that they are adjustable together with respect to the support surface (22).
  7. 7. Horizontal forming device, according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the support unit (78) is disposed in the forming unit (12) and is supported by the compensation unit (126) so as to be movable relative to the forming unit (12).

Horizontal forming device, according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the compensation unit (126) comprises at least one conveyor element (148, 150), which is fixed to at least one forming element (34, 36) of the forming unit structure (12), wherein at least one support element (128, 130) of the support unit (78) is movably supported on the conveyor element (148, 150), in particular, by means of a spring-loaded parallelogram that guides the compensation unit (126).

Horizontal forming device, according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the compensation unit (126) comprises at least one actuator (152, 154), which is configured to actively move the forming unit (12) and/or the support unit (78) during the forming of the packaging material tube (16), in particular, to facilitate a compensation movement of the forming unit (12) and/or the support unit (78) relative to each other during the forming of the packaging material tube (16).

Horizontal forming device, according to claim 9, characterized in that the compensation unit (126) comprises at least one sensor element (104) for detecting a web parameter of packaging material, the actuator (152, 154) being actuatable depending on the detection parameter of the packaging material web.
