Description
Field of technique [001] The present disclosure generally refers to an arrangement of slide sets of a rolling stock and, for example, to a slide for supporting a track of the rolling stock. Background [002] In industries such as construction, mining, and forestry, a machine may utilize a track to distribute the machine's weight across a ground surface. As a result, the machine can be configured to traverse the ground surface with less likelihood of becoming stuck compared to wheel-driven machines. In such a machine, an undercarriage may include a sprocket at one end, an idler wheel at the opposite end, and a slide arrangement mounted between them to support and guide the track. In some cases, the slide arrangement may have been designed in a fragmented—rather than cohesive—way to address discrete issues that arose over time. Thus, the slide arrangement may include a plurality of slides that have different designs and different service lives. As a result, the slide arrangement may have significant inventory costs and require relatively complicated and frequent slide replacement, which increases machine downtime. [003] U.S. Patent No. 10,543,876 describes a track support rail for slidingly supporting a set of tracks of a machine. The track support rail includes a body having a first body end, a second body end, a convex portion, and an upper support surface. The body extends along a longitudinal geometric axis between the first and second body ends. The convex portion is disposed between the first and second body ends along the longitudinal geometric axis. The upper support surface extends along the longitudinal geometric axis between the first and second body ends. The upper support surface includes first and second curved segments. The first curved segment has a first curved shape and extends from the first body end toward the convex portion of the body. The second curved segment has a second curved shape and extends from the second body end toward the upper part of the body. The first curved shape is different from the second curved shape. [004] The slide of the present disclosure solves one or more of the problems presented above and/or other problems in the technique. Summary [005] In some implementations, a split slide includes a first segment having a first top surface, a first bottom surface, and a first inner surface connecting the first top surface to the first bottom surface, wherein the first top surface is configured to support a track and the first inner surface includes a first component of a fastening mechanism; and a second segment having a second top surface, a second bottom surface, and a second inner surface connecting the second top surface to the second bottom surface, wherein the second top surface is configured to support the track and the second inner surface includes a second component of the fastening mechanism that is configured to be removablely fastened to the first component of the fastening mechanism. [006] In some implementations, an end slide assembly includes an end support member that is configured to be attached to an undercarriage frame at a location adjacent to a sprocket or idler wheel; and an end slide that is configured to support a track, wherein the end slide includes: a height that is greater than the height of the end support member, a width that is greater than the width of the end support member, and a length that is greater than the length of the end support member, and the end slide, along the same, has a first radius of curvature and a second radius of curvature that is greater than the first radius of curvature. [007] In some implementations, a slide arrangement includes at least one end slide having a first end segment and a second end segment that is removablely attached to the first end segment, wherein the first end segment and the second end segment together form a top surface of at least one end slide that is configured to support a conveyor belt, wherein, along a longitudinal direction of the slide arrangement, the top surface of at least one end slide includes a first radius of curvature and a second radius of curvature that is greater than the first radius of curvature; and at least one center slide having a first center segment and a second center segment that is removablely attached to the first center segment, wherein the first center segment and the second center segment together form a top surface of at least one center slide that is configured to support the conveyor belt, wherein the top surface of at least one center slide is substantially linear along the longitudinal direction of the slide arrangement.
