BR-202023017241-Y1 - CONSTRUCTIONAL ARRANGEMENT IN A STRIPPER ROLLER
Abstract
CONSTRUCTIVE ARRANGEMENT IN A STRIPPER ROLLER. A constructive arrangement in a stripper roller is described, equipped with a cutting and traction assembly that includes a blade (20) and a fin (21), said fin (21) having a continuous edge (211) and an edge with indentations (212), such that the edge with indentations (212) is arranged at 90 degrees in relation to the edge with indentations (2021) of the blade (20), preventing the plant from slipping during pulling and cutting, providing an area that locks the plant and increases the traction force.

Description
[01] The present utility model describes a constructive arrangement in a stripping roller equipped with a cutting and pulling assembly that includes a fin and blade with a profile equipped with indentations that prevent the plant from slipping during pulling and cutting, providing an area that locks the plant and increases the pulling force. [02] Corn harvesting cutters are structures mounted on the front of agricultural harvesting machines. During operation, corn harvesting cutters pull down adjacent rows of corn plants and remove the corn stalks from the plants using husking rollers. [03] The state of the art describes stripping rollers with blades or fins that increase the contact area with the plant, increasing the efficiency for pulling, cutting or tearing the plant. [04] Document BR202021019665, from the same holder, describes a constructive arrangement in a collecting roller applied to a corn harvesting platform that has a surface equipped with sets of blades arranged sequentially with distinct and complementary functions, expanding the contact area with the plant and allowing it to grip and drag the plant, followed by cutting or tearing the plant to segment it and facilitate the decomposition of the plant remains that are deposited on the soil. [05] Document Pl0805559 describes a fin system for a harvester unit puller roller for a corn harvester comprising an elongated central body with four pairs of fins, where each pair of fins forms a single piece, attachable to the central body by at least one fastening means. [06] Document BR132018005344 describes a constructive arrangement of a corn collecting roller equipped with seven-sided polygonal fin seating bases, reducing the possibility of system assembly errors. [07] Document BR102017006894 describes a constructive arrangement of a corn collecting roller with replaceable fins equipped with a central body with tips, having a quadrilateral shape, and fins with various configurations are provided to pull the corn stalk aggressively. [08] Document BR202013003019 describes a gathering roller for a corn harvester platform that includes an upper fin and a lower fin, a rear tip, a front tip and a central support bracket, where the front tip contains a tip which receives a spacer and a bearing by fitting, eliminating the welding process of the fins. [09] Document BR202021019665 describes a rotating roller with a surface equipped with sets of sequentially arranged blades with distinct and complementary functions, increasing the contact area with the plant and allowing it to grip and drag the plant, followed by cutting or tearing the plant to segment it and facilitate the decomposition of plant remains that are deposited on the soil. [010] Grain losses worldwide, occurring at all stages of the production chain, from the field to the consumer's table, are significant (National Supply Company. (2023). Grain Loss in Brazil and the World: dimension, representativeness and diagnosis. Section 1. V. 31). In corn harvesting, for example, the main sources of loss are located at the husking platform, due to the failure to collect the ears or threshed grains due to impact on the platform. [011] One of the problems concerns the traction efficiency of the stripping rollers. Increasing the contact area with the plant increases efficiency. However, given the fact that the edge is smooth, there may be points where the plant slips, which is undesirable. [012] Thus, the present utility model object is a stripping roller equipped with an assembly that includes fins and blades arranged linearly between the ends of the stripping roller, the outer edge of the fins and blades having a serrated profile that prevents the plant from coming loose during pulling and cutting, increasing the traction capacity. [013] In order to better describe the constructive arrangement in a stripping roller, the following figures are presented: [014] Figure 1 shows a perspective view of the cutting platform. [015] Figure 2A shows a perspective view of the stripping roller. [016] Figure 2B shows a constructive variation with additional fins. [017] Figure 3 shows an exploded view of the stripping roller. [018] Figure 4 shows an enlarged cutaway view highlighting the positioning of the blades and fins on the stripping roller. [019] The constructive arrangement in stripping roller, object of the present utility model, comprises a stripping roller fixed to a cutting platform (100), said stripping roller having a central cubic profile (10) which constitutes the central axis. In this central cubic profile (10) perforations (11) are provided where the traction and cutting assemblies (20) and (21) responsible for the traction and cutting of the plant during the stripping process are fixed. [020] Each traction and cutting assembly includes a blade (20) and a fin (21) fixed to each other and to the central profile (10) by means of a screw (P) that passes through perforations (201) and (213), respectively, on the su
