Abstract

This refers to packaging designed to contain a pizza (P) or a slice of pizza (P) ready for consumption; providing means to allow the consumer to bring the pizza (P) to their mouth hygienically and conveniently, without needing cutlery, a plate, or any other instrument. It comprises firstly an outer box (E) of parallelepiped shape; having its front end open. It also comprises an inner box (I) of parallelepiped shape corresponding to the outer box (E). The inner box (I) is formed by a back wall (2), two side walls (3), and a back wall (4); the front end of said inner box (I) is open. And the inner box (I) is slidably inserted inside the outer box (E), like a drawer. And since in the pizza preparation establishment (P), the pizza is placed inside the inner box (I), which must be slid into the outer box (E), keeping the pizza (P) protected until the moment it is consumed.

Description

Field of Invention [001] This Utility Model relates to an improvement in packaging designed to contain a pizza or slice of pizza ready for consumption. The packaging provides a means for the consumer to hygienically and conveniently bring the pizza to their mouth without needing cutlery, a plate, or any other utensil, among other advantages. State of the Art [002] It is known that pizza is a food that has become popular almost all over the world, being a type of food that is widely marketed ready for consumption, and is commonly prepared in an establishment and transported - through a fast delivery service - to the consumer's residence, who can order the pizza by phone or messaging app. It is also known that, normally, the pizza is presented in a characteristic disc shape, which may be supplied already sliced, with its slices cut into a triangular shape; and that, normally, the packaging is in the form of a flat box - bottom and lid - with a circular or polyhedral perimeter. A relevant fact is that the pizza packaging known to date has its usefulness limited only to containing the pizza during its transport or storage, so that, in order to consume the pizza, it is necessary to remove the pizza from the packaging - since it is relatively large - and use plates and cutlery. On the other hand, the consumer market has increasingly developed the habit of consuming ready-made foods that come in individual portions, packaged in their respective individual containers, thus allowing the food to be consumed in more informal spaces where plates, cutlery, and other utensils are not provided. [003] In turn, with regard to specific packaging to contain and simultaneously enable the consumption of ready-made pizzas, one can cite the object of patent document BR 202019004879-0, which has as its main characteristic comprising a plurality of individual, thin, triangular cardboard sheets, which are radially assembled; each sheet receiving one of the slices of a previously cut pizza; so that each slice can be held manually by the consumer, preventing them from touching the pizza directly with their hands. However, this solution is not an individualized packaging for a single slice of pizza, as the packaging contains a whole pizza, sliced into several pieces, thus serving for collective consumption; as well as, the sheet that supports the slice of pizza does not have sides that provide greater rigidity for handling the packaging, and also does not prevent the consumer's fingers from directly touching the edges of the pizza slice, which could cause contamination and the inconvenience of getting their hands dirty with the pizza, among other inconveniences. [004] Another relevant solution is the object of patent document BR 202017026388, which discloses packaging for an individual slice of pizza. This packaging consists of a triangular box, which is open at its larger end, and inside the box is inserted a tray consisting of a thin sheet, with a corresponding triangular shape. A triangular slice of pizza is placed on the triangular tray, which is, in turn, contained inside the box, allowing it to be transported and handled. However, in order to consume the pizza, the tray must be completely removed from the box, which can then be discarded, as it no longer serves any function, while the slice of pizza is consumed on the tray. However, in this case, the pizza slice is completely exposed to contamination, and it is also not possible to progressively slide the pizza slice off the tray as the pizza is consumed, since the triangular shape of the tray makes this operation difficult, forcing the consumer to lift the pizza slice off the tray to bite into it, or having to progressively fold the tray down, so as to expose and progressively reach the edge of the pizza, which still runs the risk of accidentally sliding off the tray and falling to the floor, among other inconveniences. Objectives of the Invention [005] With the aim of resolving these inconveniences, the present Utility Model was developed, which proposes a novel constructive form for packaging to enable the individual consumption of a single slice of pizza; being most suitable for containing a rectangular slice of pizza, but also able to accommodate a triangular slice, or any other shape. The present packaging stands out from those already understood in the state of the art by comprising an outer box, of parallelepiped shape, which is open at one of its ends. Inside the said outer box, an inner box, in the form of a drawer, is slidably inserted, which is open at the top and also at one of its ends; so that the ready-made slice of pizza is placed on this inner box, and the same is inserted with its open end into the outer box, protecting the slice of pizza, which remains protected until the moment of its consumption. And since, at the moment of consuming an individual slice of pizza, the inner box must be extracted - sliding - from inside the outer box and then the said inner bo
