BR-202024017408-U2 - CONSTRUCTIONAL ARRANGEMENT APPLIED TO A SUPPORT FOR FINISHING THE BODY OF REFRIGERATED OR HOT FOOD DISPLAY CASES WITH A CURVED MODULAR STRUCTURE
Abstract
This patent application relates to a model of a curvilinear modular support for finishing the body of food display cases (1), intended for the commercial equipment sector for refrigerated, heated or similar display cases. The present model incorporates a curvilinear modular structure (2) with an upper flange (3) equipped with a double groove (4), designed for the precise fitting of the profiles of the outer and intermediate casing. In addition, the curvilinear modular structure (2) has an "L" shaped cross-section (5), with a lower groove (7) for fitting the inner profile of the casing (B), and a curvilinear base (8) that accommodates the glass (V) of the food display case (E). The present model aims to increase structural rigidity, simplify the assembly process by eliminating the need for forming and welding metal sheets, reduce costs and risks of leaks, and provide a superior finish and greater durability to the display cases.

Description
BRIEF PRESENTATION [001] This utility model patent application refers to a support for finishing the body of food display cases, whose highlight is a curvilinear structure with an upper flange equipped with a double groove for fitting the profiles of the outer and intermediate casing, in addition to an "L" shaped cross-section with a lower groove for fitting the inner casing profile of the body and a curvilinear base for accommodating the glass. This model allows replacing the conventional process of forming and welding the body, offering a quick and efficient modular assembly, with increased structural rigidity and secure sealing of the components. In this way, the present model, now claimed, promotes a reduction in manufacturing time and cost, a decrease in the risk of leaks and an increase in the durability of food display cases. MODEL FIELD [002] The model described in this patent application is aimed at the field of food display equipment, specifically for refrigerated, hot or similar display cases, used in commercial environments such as supermarkets, bakeries, and food establishments, where high structural rigidity, precise finish and efficiency in the assembly of components are required. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED [003] The specific technical problem that the described model aims to solve is the lack of structural rigidity, the complexity of the metal sheet forming and welding process, and the high risk of leaks in food display cases currently available on the market. This problem is significant because conventional manufacturing processes for food display case housings require the forming of metal sheets through cutting and welding, resulting in time-consuming, expensive processes with a high propensity for failures, such as loss of sealing and reduced durability of the display cases. These impacts compromise operational efficiency, increase maintenance costs, and decrease the lifespan of the equipment, directly affecting the quality and safety of the food on display. CURRENT STATE OF THE ART [004] Document BR 102018011374-7, filed on 05/06/2018, is known from the current state of the art, which describes a refrigerated display case comprising one or more doors or partitions that isolate the refrigerated volume from the external environment, in which the flow of the refrigerated fluid is substantially parallel to the plane of said one or more doors or partitions in a closed configuration and in which each fissure has a substantially horizontal development and a width that is equal to about ten times its respective height. [005] The prior art mentioned above is cited only to establish the state of the art, since it was not possible to obtain a patent reference closer to the subject matter now claimed. MODEL OBJECTIVES [006] The aim of this model is to increase the structural rigidity of the food display case body. [007] The aim of this model is to simplify the assembly process by eliminating the need for forming and welding sheet metal. [008] The aim of this model is to reduce the time and cost of manufacturing the display stands. [009] The aim of this model is to minimize the risk of leaks. [010] The aim of this model is to increase the durability and efficiency of food display cases used in commercial settings. MODEL SUMMARY [011] The present model is a support with a curvilinear modular structure, which was developed to eliminate the need for shaping and welding metal sheets, as in the current conventional process, easily integrating with the casing profiles of the food display case. The support in question consists of a curvilinear structure with grooves for precise fitting of the casing profiles and a base that accommodates the glass of the display case, ensuring quick and efficient assembly. Furthermore, the present model increases the structural rigidity of the casing, simplifies the assembly process, reduces manufacturing time and cost, minimizes the risk of leaks, and increases the durability of food display cases, providing an effective and economical solution for commercial environments. ADVANTAGES OF THE MODEL [012] This model offers the following advantages: ✓ Increases the structural rigidity of the food display case body, ensuring greater stability and durability; ✓ Simplifies the assembly process by eliminating the need for forming and welding metal sheets, reducing manufacturing time; ✓ Reduces production costs by minimizing the steps and complexity of the assembly process; ✓ Minimizes the risk of leaks, providing a more efficient and reliable seal; ✓ Improves the finish of the display case, ensuring a precise fit of the components and a more uniform final appearance; ✓ Increases the durability of the display cases, extending the lifespan of the equipment in commercial environments; ✓ Facilitates maintenance and component replacement due to its modular structure and easy assembly.
