Description

INTRODUCTION [001] This descriptive report refers to a utility model patent application for a portable barbecue grill, belonging to the technical sector of equipment for food preparation, particularly grilling meats, fish, vegetables, and others, which has received an original arrangement to incorporate a cooling and oxygenation device, which cools its external surfaces to prevent burning of the surface on which it is used and oxygenates the embers to intensify combustion. STATE OF THE ART [002] One activity that provides great leisure and camaraderie among people is the preparation and enjoyment of barbecues. To cater to this, numerous types of barbecues are already known, ranging from large ones placed on the ground to smaller ones used next to or on a table. This type of barbecue used on a table is efficient, but it can usually present a drawback that is desirable to overcome. Thus, tabletop barbecues as they are usually constructed, that is, formed by a metal container that holds the embers and devices shaped or mounted on such a container to support the utensils used to hold the food, such as grills, skewers, and others, have the drawback that, during use, their external surfaces become very hot, which can cause burning on the surfaces on which they are placed, burns to users, and also present difficulties in the oxygenation of the fuels. OBJECTIVES OF THE PROVISION [003] Thus, the objective of the present utility model patent is to provide a barbecue grill that overcomes the problem of the prior art mentioned above, related to the fact that usual barbecue grills have their external surfaces become very hot, which can cause burns to the support surfaces and/or users. [004] Another objective is to provide a barbecue grill that incorporates means to promote charcoal combustion during use. [005] Another objective is to provide a barbecue grill that, despite being portable, allows the use of a wide variety of food support devices, such as grills and skewers of various types, kebabs (wooden sticks) and others that are commonly used. [006] Another objective is to provide a barbecue grill that, despite being portable, is flexible enough to apply various barbecue techniques. [007] Another objective is to provide a barbecue grill that is easy to transport and install at the place of use. [008] Another objective is to provide a barbecue grill that is simple to build and manufacture. [009] Another objective is to provide a barbecue grill that is low in purchase, use and maintenance costs. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DISPOSITION [010] In view of the aforementioned problems, in order to overcome them and aiming to meet the related objectives, the arrangement introduced in a portable barbecue grill, the subject of this utility model patent application, was developed, which essentially comprises: a container assembly that houses the charcoal; feet; a set of devices for supporting the food utensils (grills, skewers, kebabs), comprising: two extreme support crossbars arranged inside the container assembly; cutouts made in the free edge of one of the transverse walls of the container assembly; pairs of opposite support cutouts made in the free edges of opposite longitudinal walls of the container assembly; said container assembly, in the present arrangement, formed by: an inner container (brazier) receiving the charcoal; an outer box inside which the brazier is suspended and equipped with high feet that create a space between the bottom of said outer box and the surface where the barbecue grill is used; and by a U-shaped ventilation/oxygenation tunnel defined between the bottom and walls of the brazier and the outer box; said U-shaped tunnel comprising: extreme entrances consisting of preferably U-shaped and non-continuous cutouts made in the extreme transverse walls of the outer box; and ventilation openings consisting of holes made in the walls of the inner brazier. Thus, when the charcoal is lit inside the inner brazier, by convection, ambient air is drawn in through the entrances of the U-shaped tunnel, circulates along it, passes through the holes in the walls of the brazier, flows through the charcoal, feeding and intensifying the combustion and heat generation that cooks the food, and along this path, the airflow cools the bottom and walls of the outer box, cools the external area under the bottom of the outer box, oxygenates the interior of the brazier, favoring the burning of the charcoal and the better preparation of the food. [011] This construction overcomes the drawbacks of the prior art, as the air circulation within the U-shaped tunnel cools the surfaces of the outer casing and the space beneath it, thus preventing it from heating up and burning the surface on which the grill rests. This cooling of the outer casing also prevents burns to the user(s)' hands. [012] Additionally, the entry of oxygen into the embers helps maintain the flame, thus providing better performance of the grill. [013] Furthermore, alth
