Description

Field of application [001] This utility model patent relates to a fishing rod model with a battery embedded in the handle, belonging to the field of line fishing equipment, more precisely for sport fishing with an electric reel, and to which an original constructive arrangement has been given, with a view to improving its use and performance in relation to other models usually found on the market. [002] A fishing rod is a fishing tool, usually consisting of a hollow, tapered cone made of lightweight, flexible materials such as fiberglass or carbon fiber, graphite or even bamboo, and its length can vary from 45 centimeters to 6 meters. [003] In sport fishing, the fishing rod can be equipped with a reel, which basically comprises a type of spool that offers greater control and precision for pulling and releasing the line. More precisely, said reel is fixed to the handle of the fishing rod and is used to store, control, and release the fishing line. [004] This reel is a versatile tool that offers many possibilities for fishing. With the right choice of bait and technique, it is possible to catch a wide variety of fish, both in freshwater and saltwater. [005] Technological advancements have brought electric reels to the fishing market. While traditional reels rely exclusively on the angler's physical strength to retrieve the line, electric reels have a motor that automates this process, significantly reducing physical effort and making fishing lighter and less tiring. This technology is especially beneficial for long fishing trips or when catching large fish. [006] The aforementioned electric reel consists of: - Electric motor: Responsible for retrieving the line quickly and precisely, with different speeds and pre-defined settings. - Battery: Powers the electric motor, allowing for long fishing trips without the need for interruptions to rest your arms. - Control: Through buttons or a digital panel, the angler controls the retrieval speed, the depth of the lure, and other functions, such as the fish alarm. [007] The electric reel offers many advantages, such as: - Less effort: Ideal for fishing at great depths or with large fish, where physical effort is significantly reduced. - Greater precision: Allows precise control of the bait depth and retrieval speed, increasing the chances of catching the fish. - Comfort: Fishing becomes more enjoyable, allowing the angler to concentrate on other aspects of the activity, such as observing the float or choosing the next bait. - Advanced features: Many models have features such as depth counter, fish alarm, automatic bait movement, and other functions that facilitate fishing. [008] The integration of the rechargeable electric battery into the fishing rod handle, the subject of this patent application, guarantees a constant and efficient power source for the electric reel, bringing advantages to the user such as greater convenience, practicality and freedom of movement. State of the art [009] As is well known, especially by sport fishing enthusiasts who use electric reels, the electric battery is a fundamental component for its operation, providing the energy needed for the motor to retrieve the line. [010] In the standard configuration, the batteries are sold in modules independent of the electric reel. The connection between the two is made through standardized electrical cables and also with an external battery, connected directly to the reel equipped with standardized connectors. [011] In certain situations, it is possible to power the reel directly from the boat's battery. [012] Although there are several patents on fishing rods, none of them describes the incorporation of batteries as an integral component of the fishing rod. In order to clarify the state of the art, some patent documents that deal with fishing rods are cited below. [013] Patent document MU5700088, entitled "FOLDABLE FISHING ROD COMBINED WITH REEL," discloses a combination of fishing rod and reel, compactly assembled to form a small, foldable unit, consisting of a generally oblong or ovoid main body, which houses an automatic reel in its hollow front part, externally controlled by a digital button, said main body having a tapered rear part with a handle-shaped opening, this rear part having a compartment with a lid at the top to hold the line, hooks and sinkers and a hook-shaped cutout at the rear; the fishing rod, whose length corresponds to the main body, is attached to the front of the main body in a foldable manner by an articulation on a fulcrum, this rod being held in use by a trigger located at the front and upper end of said main body. [014] Patent document PI 7707048, entitled "FISHING ROD", discloses a fishing rod comprising a multiplicity of synthetic resin-based fiber-reinforced blades and a specific space-retaining layer provided at an intermediate point between the outermost and innermost layers. Due to the provision of this space-retaining layer, distortion caused by a bending moment
