Description

UTILITY MODEL FIELD [001] The present utility model relates to agricultural implements. In particular, the present utility model relates to a mechanical stubble destroyer. FUNDAMENTALS OF THE UTILITY MODEL [002] The destruction of stubble is one of the most important steps when renewing a plantation, as it ensures the reduction of the population of various pests, such as the pest called Sphenophorus levis, or sugarcane weevil. [003] The pest Sphenophorus levis is usually lodged in the remains of the root system of sugarcane stubble and, when a sugarcane field is renewed, it feeds on the new plantings, causing significant losses in the new sugarcane field. [004] Therefore, the current state of the art lacks a solution for the destruction of stubble when renewing a plantation in order to control the pest population. SUMMARY OF THE UTILITY MODEL [005] The present utility model aims to provide a mechanical stubble destroyer for destroying stubble during the renewal of a plantation in order to control the pest population. [0010] In order to achieve the objective described above, the present utility model provides a mechanical stubble destroyer comprising: a structure adapted for coupling to an agricultural machine; a rotating cutting shaft connected to the structure and comprising at least one cutting means including at least one curved geometry cutting blade; and at least one soil drilling and lifting means connected to the structure and comprising stubble guiding fingers towards the rotating cutting shaft. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES [0011] The detailed description presented below refers to the attached figures and their respective reference numbers. [0012] Figure 1 illustrates a perspective of a mechanical stubble destroyer according to the preferred embodiment of the present utility model. [0013] Figure 2 illustrates a perspective view of a rotating cutting shaft of a mechanical stump crusher according to the preferred embodiment of the present utility model. [0014] Figure 3 illustrates views of a knife of a cutting means of a rotating cutting shaft of a mechanical stubble crusher according to the preferred embodiment of the present utility model. [0015] Figure 4 illustrates views of a soil drilling and lifting means of a mechanical stump destroyer according to the preferred embodiment of the present utility model. [0016] Figure 5 illustrates a perspective of a mechanical stubble destroyer according to the preferred embodiment of the present utility model. [0017] Figure 6 illustrates a perspective of a mechanical stubble destroyer according to the preferred embodiment of the present utility model. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE UTILITY MODEL [0018] Preliminarily, it should be noted that the description that follows will be based on a preferred embodiment of the utility model. As will become evident to any person skilled in the art, however, the utility model is not limited to this particular embodiment. [0019] Figure 1 illustrates a mechanical stubble destroyer 1 comprising: a structure 2 adapted for coupling to an agricultural machine, preferably adapted for coupling to a tractor via a three-point hitch; a rotating cutting shaft 3 connected to the structure 2, preferably by means of bearings, and comprising at least one cutting means 4 including at least one curved geometry cutting blade 5; and at least one soil drilling and lifting means 6, such as a hoe, connected to the structure 2, preferably by means of clamps on the structure 2, and comprising stubble-directing fingers towards the rotating cutting shaft 3, such that the at least one soil drilling and lifting means 6 removes the stubble from the soil and directs it towards the rotating cutting shaft 3, where the stubble is completely destroyed, remaining in small fragments that are thrown backwards onto the soil. [0020] The mechanical stubble destroyer 1 preferably comprises a power take-off on the tractor, coupled to a reducer. Through the reducer, power is transferred to the rotating cutting shaft. [0021] Figures 2 to 4 illustrate details of a rotating cutting shaft 3, a curved geometry cutting blade 5 and a soil drilling and lifting means 6 of a mechanical stump destroyer 1 according to the preferred embodiment of the present utility model. [0022] Figures 5 and 6 illustrate details of a mechanical stump destroyer 1 according to the preferred embodiment of the present utility model. [0023] In a further embodiment of the present utility model, the mechanical stubble destroyer 1 comprises a rotating cutting shaft 3 comprising nine cutting means including six pairs of curved geometry cutting blades 5 each, totaling 108 curved geometry cutting blades 5, and two soil drilling and lifting means 6 comprising stubble guiding fingers for the rotating cutting shaft 3. [0024] In a further embodiment of the present utility model, the cutting rotary shaft 3 is 2,500 mm wide and rotates at 450 RPM, and the soil drilling and lifting means are 1,000 mm wide. [0025
