Abstract

Disclosure of Invention It is an object of the present invention to provide an open roof construction in which this disadvantage is eliminated or at least reduced. In order to achieve this object, the open roof construction according to the invention is characterized in that the reinforcement member forms an integral part of the attachment structure of the sealing device. Since the reinforcement member and the attachment structure are integrated, the retention of the first and second sealing portions relative to the fixed portion is very stable and precise. Since the reinforcement member is integrated in the sealing device, the dimension of the sealing device in the Y-direction (lateral direction) can be kept to a minimum, while the protruding attachment structure means that a vertical flange of the fixed part is not required, which facilitates the processing of the fixed part.
