Description
Wiper system for motor vehicle Technical Field The present invention relates to the field of wiping and/or cleaning a glazing surface of a motor vehicle, and more particularly to a wiper system for such applications. Background Wiper systems for motor vehicles are designed to remove liquids and dust by scraping, which may interfere with the driver's view of their surroundings. These wiper systems generally comprise at least one drive arm which effects an angular back and forth movement over the glazing surface to be wiped/cleaned and at least one wiper blade which comprises a wiper rubber blade or wiper blade made of an elastic material. The wiper blade and the drive arm are connected by a connecting assembly comprising, inter alia, a connector that is firmly fixed to the wiper blade. For some configurations, an adapter connects the connector to the actuating arm. The invention relates more particularly to a wiper system in which the connector is configured to engage directly in the end portion of the drive arm, thereby allowing the wiper of the wiper system to be detachably secured to the drive arm, while ensuring that, under the drive of the movement of the wiper and the arm, the squeegee will rub against the surface of the glazing to be wiped/cleaned and wipe off water and a certain amount of dirt thereon in order to clear it from the driver's view. In such wiper systems, replacement of the wiper blade when the wiper blade supported by the wiper blade is excessively worn is accomplished by disengaging a connector fixed to the wiper blade from the drive arm. For this purpose, the drive arm is usually moved away from the glazing surface against which it is intended to scrape/clean, in a direction substantially perpendicular to this surface, against which the wiper blade is pressed. Some drive arms are configured to have a stable disengaged position so that the connector described above can be readily accessed, as is particularly the case when the drive arm of a wiper system is intended to be pressed against a windshield in the front of a motor vehicle, for example. In this case, both hands of the user may be used to attach the connector associated with the wiper to the drive arm and to perform the reverse operation of disengaging the connector from the drive arm. Furthermore, in such a configuration, the amplitude of the travel of the drive arm relative to the surface of the vehicle glazing enables the user to see well the connection zone between the connector and the drive arm. Other drive arms have no stable disengaged position, such as is particularly the case when the wiper system is intended to scrape/clean a motor vehicle rear window. In this case, the connector and the wiper blade must be assembled to and disassembled from the drive arm in a small space and with reduced or even no visibility to the connector and the portion thereof engaged with the drive arm. Further, in such a configuration, the user has only one hand available to attach the connector fixed to the wiper blade to the drive arm or perform the reverse operation, since the other hand must hold the drive arm away from the surface of the vehicle to provide access to the connection area between the connector and the drive arm. The object of the present invention is to propose a simple and inexpensive solution to ensure easy assembly of a connector fixed to a wiper with a driving arm of a wiper system of a motor vehicle, irrespective of the accessibility and visibility conditions of the connection zone between the connector and the driving arm. The solution proposed by the present invention also aims to ensure that such components maintain a proper holding force over time. In particular, such assemblies need to be able to withstand the stresses imposed on the drive arm and wiper blade, which may in some cases cause the connector and wiper blade to tear from the drive arm, for example, as a motor vehicle passes through an automatic cleaning system. Disclosure of Invention In order to achieve the object thereof, according to a first aspect, the subject of the invention is a wiper system for a motor vehicle, comprising a drive arm and a wiper connected to each other by a connecting device, the connecting device comprising a connector fixed to the wiper, and a connecting shaft, the drive arm comprising a first end and a second end opposite the first end in the longitudinal direction of the drive arm, the drive arm being attached to the drive device by the first end, the connecting device comprising a receiving space (RECEIVING HOUSING) for receiving the connecting shaft, the receiving space comprising an inlet through which the connecting shaft is received and a locking zone for locking the connecting shaft, characterized in that the locking zone is located between the inlet of the receiving space and the second end of the drive arm. Advantageously, the elements constituting the wiper system according to the invention, i.e. in particular the d
