Description
Pigment cup made of natural fiber material Technical Field The present invention relates to a paint cup for a paint spray gun. Background The paint cup for a paint spray gun has a generally closable container for paint, which can be coupled to the paint spray gun via a paint outflow opening, so that paint can flow from the paint cup into the paint spray gun (paint flow cup), where it is atomized by means of compressed air. The paint cup is made of plastic. A paint cup with a lid system closing the opening is known, for example, from EP 1,424,135 B1. Due to the increasing scarcity of global resources, alternative materials composed of sustainable raw materials are also becoming of interest for use in the field of paint cups, wherein the paint cup and lid systems to date do not have sufficient self-stability or sufficient leak-proof safety in harsh plant environments for combination with the materials. Disclosure of Invention The aim of the invention is to provide a paint cup for a paint gun with adequate tightness. According to the invention, a paint cup for a paint gun has an opening which can be closed by means of a cover which closes the opening. The coupling section of the tank wall is arranged in a fluid-tight manner between a first clamping surface and a second clamping surface of a cover system comprising a cover, wherein the tank wall is made of a natural fiber material. The friction-fit clamping of the tank wall also enables the use of low-strength materials composed of natural fiber or plant materials. A natural fibrous material or a plant material is understood to be a material such as paper, thick paper, hard paper, cardboard, corrugated board or a composite material comprising one of the above-mentioned material layers. In particular, it is a cellulose-based fibrous material. Natural fiber materials are designed, for example, as paper materials made from wood pulp, cellulose, semi-pulp or waste paper by bonding or pressing. The tank wall can be extended according to the longitudinal axis and be configured substantially rotationally symmetrical, wherein the coupling section is advantageously clamped between the first clamping surface and the second clamping surface in the radial and/or axial direction. By means of the advantageously designed clamping, it is possible to achieve a liquid-tight connection between the cover system and the paint container based on different materials and/or material pairs. In an advantageous embodiment, the coupling section is configured as a substantially axial end section of the tank wall. Alternatively, the coupling section can also be configured as a protruding annular flange pointing radially outwards from the tank wall. Advantageously, the cover system may comprise a cover and a mating ring, wherein the coupling section is clamped between the cover and the mating ring in a radial direction. Such an embodiment has the advantage that the tank wall is not or only slightly adapted and the axial end section can be adapted to existing production technology or adapted thereto with little effort. The cover system can be reused and is made of classical inorganic plastics, for example. The mating ring can be removably translated or plugged onto the paint container. Alternatively, the mating ring may be fixedly connected with the tank wall. To this end, the mating ring can be molded directly to the paint container in an injection molding process, fused as a single piece with the plastic surface of the paint container, or bonded to the paint container. The connection between the mating ring and the color container is preferably constructed in a fluid-tight manner. A particularly material-saving variant is obtained in that instead of a closed circular circumferential mating ring, only the threaded section is molded onto the paint container, preferably in the injection molding process with plastic, which can interact with the thread on the cap embodied as a screw cap. However, the mating ring configured as a plastic rim can have almost all known connection systems between it and the cover, for example screw connections, snap connections. For example, the mating ring may have a threaded edge that cooperates with a cap configured as a threaded cap. Alternatively, the mating ring may have a snap edge that cooperates with a locking tab at the cover configured to snap over the cover. The paint cup with the paint container is inventive independently of whether the coupling section of the can wall is arranged in a fluid-tight manner between the first and second clamping surfaces of the lid system comprising the lid, wherein the paint cup has a can wall made of natural fibers, in particular of cellulose-based fiber material, wherein a mating ring, preferably a mating ring made of plastic, or an injection-molded thread section is fixedly arranged at the can wall. Particularly preferably, the cover and the mating ring may each have a pair of threads for mutual screwed engagement. In th
