Claims (17)

  1. 1. A display and operating device (30) for setting on a household appliance (1), comprising a carrier housing (40) having a display and operating panel (41) with an operating field (BF) on a user-facing outer side (41 a) of the display and operating panel (41), a circuit board (60) on an inner side (41 b) of the display and operating panel (41) facing away from the user, and a light conductor (50) on an inner side (41 b) of the display and operating panel (41) facing away from the user, the light conductor having a planar light conductor section (51) with an edge-side light entry surface (511), wherein the circuit board (60) has an outer main surface (60 a) facing the display and operating panel (41) on which a light source (63) for backlighting the display and operating panel (41) and an electrical sensor surface (65) corresponding to the operating field (BF) are arranged, wherein the planar light conductor section (51) is held between the surface (65) and the inner side (41 b) facing away from the user of the display and operating panel (41), the light sources (63) are arranged outside the electrical sensor surface (65) on an outer main surface (60 a) of the circuit board (60) and a main beam axis (A) of the light sources (63) is directed to the edge-side light inlet surface (511), wherein, in a defined use of the display and operating device (30), the light guide (50) has a plurality of planar light guide sections (51) which are arranged horizontally next to one another and are each substantially physically separated from one another, wherein the light guide (50) has a plurality of light sources (63) and electrical sensor surfaces (65) on the circuit board (60) which correspond to the planar light guide sections (51), wherein a plurality of planar light guide sections (51) are each arranged in recesses (45) on an inner side (411) of the display and operating panel (41) which correspond to the planar light guide sections, wherein a plurality of light sources (63) likewise extend into the recesses (45) and wherein a plurality of light-impermeable wall projections (49) are each provided between the recesses (45).

The display and operating device (30) according to claim 1, characterized in that the light guide (50) has a linear light guide section (52) in the extension of the planar light guide section (51), which is arranged on the end of the planar light guide section (51) opposite the light entry surface (511) on the edge side.
  3. 3. Display and operating device (30) according to claim 2, characterized in that, in a defined use of the display and operating device (30), the light source (63) is arranged above the electrical sensor surface (65) and the linear light conductor section (52) is arranged below the electrical sensor surface (65).
  4. 4. A display and operating device (30) according to claim 2 or 3, characterized in that a reflector (59) is arranged between the planar light conductor section (51) and the linear light conductor section (52), wherein the reflector (59) is arranged as a wall of the light conductor (50) which descends in the direction of the display and operating panel (41).
  5. 5. A display and operating device (30) according to claim 2 or 3, characterized in that, in a defined use of the display and operating device (30), the linear light conductor section (52) has a light exit surface (521) which is arranged below an operating region (BF) of the display and operating panel (41).

A display and operating device (30) according to claim 2 or 3, characterized in that, in a defined use of the display and operating device (30), the linear light conductor sections (52) extend horizontally across a plurality of planar light conductor sections (51) and are configured to be physically uninterrupted.
  7. 7. A display and operating device (30) according to any one of claims 1-3, characterized in that the light source (63) is a radially coupled out light emitting diode, wherein the main beam axis (a) is arranged substantially parallel to the outer main face (60 a) of the circuit board (60).

A display and operating device (30) according to any one of claims 1-3, characterized in that in a prescribed use of the display and operating device (30), the planar light conductor section (51) is arranged behind or in a planar aperture of the display and operating panel (41), wherein the planar aperture corresponds to the operating zone (BF) and the planar light conductor section (51) is provided for backlighting the operating zone (BF) through the planar aperture.
  9. 9. A display and operating device (30) according to any one of claims 1-3, characterized in that the planar light conductor section (51) has a widened light conductor section (512) with the light entry surface (511) of the edge side when one of the main surfaces (51 a,51 b) is seen vertically.

A display and operating device (30) according to any one of claims 1-3, characterized in that the circuit board (60) is provided on a main face (60 b) facing away from the display and operating panel (41) with further electrical components (62) forming an electrical circuit for evaluating the touching of the operating field (BF), the actuation of the light source (63) and the triggering of at least one action upon touching the operating field.
  11. 11. Display and operating device (30) according to claim 5, characterized in that the display and operating panel (41) is provided with a printed foil (49) having at least one translucent area corresponding to at least one linear and/or facial perforation.
  12. 12. A display and operating device (30) according to any one of claims 1-3, characterized in that the circuit board (60) is thermally caulking-connected to the carrier housing (40) on the inner side of the display and operating panel (41) by means of a securing peg (48).

The display and operating device (30) according to claim 2, characterized in that the linear light conductor section (52) is arranged at an angle (α) of 60 to 120 degrees with respect to the planar light conductor section (51) and protrudes from the planar light conductor section (51) in the direction of the display and operating panel (41).

The display and operating device (30) according to claim 5, characterized in that the linear light conductor section (52) is arranged behind or in an elongated through opening of the display and operating panel (41), wherein the elongated through opening corresponds to a line area (LF) on the display and operating panel (41) and the linear light conductor section (52) is arranged for backlighting the line area (LF) through the elongated through opening according to a setting on the operating area (BF).
  15. 15. Display and operating device (30) according to claim 8, characterized in that the display and operating panel (41) is provided with a printed foil (49) having at least one translucent area corresponding to at least one linear and/or facial perforation.
  16. 16. A household appliance having a display and operating device (30) according to any of the preceding claims for setting on the household appliance (1).

Disclosure of Invention The object of the present invention is to provide an improved display and operating device with a capacitive operating field which has a simple structure and at the same time enables a backlight of the display and operating device. This object is achieved by a display and operating device having the features according to the preferred embodiment of the invention and a household appliance according to the preferred embodiment of the invention. Advantageous developments and designs are the subject matter of alternatives, specifications and drawings. One aspect of the invention relates to a display and operating device for setting on a household appliance, comprising a carrier housing having a display and operating panel with an operating field on the user-facing outer side of the display and operating panel, a circuit board on the user-facing inner side of the display and operating panel, and a light conductor on the user-facing inner side of the display and operating panel, the light conductor having a planar light conductor section with an edge-side light entry surface, wherein the circuit board has an outer main surface facing the display and operating panel, on which an optical source for backlighting the display and operating panel and an electrical sensor surface corresponding to the operating field are arranged, wherein the planar light conductor section is held between the electrical sensor surface and the user-facing inner side of the display and operating panel, wherein the optical source is arranged on the outer main surface of the circuit board outside the electrical sensor surface and the main beam axis of the optical source is directed to the edge-side light entry surface. A better and more slim construction of the display and operating device according to the invention is obtained in the depth direction of the display and operating device, since the electrical sensor surface and the light source are arranged remote from one another on the outer main surface of the circuit board and the planar light conductor section is held between the electrical sensor surface and the light source. Furthermore, since the electrical sensor surface and the planar light conductor sections are arranged above one another in a planar manner, the geometry of the light conductors and the electrical sensor surface can be produced in a simple and cost-effective manner. Furthermore, such a display and operating device can be produced simply and cost-effectively, since no additional fixing of the light conductor is required by the holding of the light conductor between the electrical sensor surface and the display and operating panel.
