Abstract
The invention provides a magnetic oil-containing microcapsule, a self-lubricating epoxy composite material, a preparation method and application thereof, and belongs to the technical field of functional materials. The magnetic oily microcapsule provided by the invention comprises a hybrid shell and lubricating oil encapsulated in the hybrid shell, wherein the hybrid shell comprises a polysulfone matrix and amphiphilic Fe 3 O 4 nano-particles embedded in the polysulfone matrix. The magnetic oil-containing microcapsule provided by the invention has good temperature resistance and encapsulation, and is favorable for fully playing the lubrication role in the use process. The magnetic oil-containing microcapsule provided by the invention is used in an epoxy resin matrix, so that a self-lubricating epoxy composite material with uniformly distributed magnetic oil-containing microcapsule can be obtained, the distribution and the position of the magnetic oil-containing microcapsule can be controlled by a magnetic field, the self-lubricating epoxy composite material with gradient distribution of the magnetic oil-containing microcapsule can be obtained, and the application of the magnetic oil-containing microcapsule in the field of tribology is expanded.

- 1. The magnetic oil-containing microcapsule comprises a hybrid shell and lubricating oil encapsulated in the hybrid shell, wherein the hybrid shell comprises a polysulfone matrix and amphiphilic Fe 3 O 4 nano-particles embedded in the polysulfone matrix, and the average particle size of the magnetic oil-containing microcapsule is 30.53-86.12 mu m.
- 2. The magnetic oil-containing microcapsule according to claim 1, wherein the oil content of the magnetic oil-containing microcapsule is 50.3-55.6%.
- 3. A process for the preparation of a magnetic oil-containing microcapsule according to claim 1 or 2, comprising the steps of: Mixing amphiphilic Fe 3 O 4 nano particles, sodium chloride and water to obtain a water phase; Mixing polysulfone, lubricating oil and an organic solvent to obtain an organic phase; and adding the organic phase into the water phase to sequentially carry out emulsification treatment and encapsulation treatment, thus obtaining the magnetic oil-containing microcapsule.
- 4. The method according to claim 3, wherein the amphiphilic Fe 3 O 4 nanoparticles are obtained by grafting modification of Fe 3 O 4 nanoparticles with a silane coupling agent.
- 5. The method according to claim 3, wherein the emulsification is performed at a rotation speed of 13000-18000 rpm for 3-7 min, and the encapsulation is performed at a rotation speed of 500-1000 rpm for 3-6 h at 30-36 ℃.

The self-lubricating epoxy composite material comprises an epoxy resin matrix and magnetic oil-containing microcapsules uniformly distributed or gradient distributed in the epoxy resin matrix, wherein the magnetic oil-containing microcapsules are prepared by the magnetic oil-containing microcapsules according to claim 1 or 2 or the preparation method according to any one of claims 3-5.
- 7. The self-lubricating epoxy composite material according to claim 6, wherein the epoxy resin matrix is formed by epoxy resin and a curing agent, and the mass of the magnetic oil-containing microcapsule is 5-20% of the total mass of the epoxy resin and the magnetic oil-containing microcapsule.

A method of making the self-lubricating epoxy composite of claim 6 or 7, comprising the steps of: Mixing epoxy resin, a curing agent and the magnetic oil-containing microcapsule, and sequentially performing pre-curing and curing under the condition of no magnetic field or magnetic field to obtain the self-lubricating epoxy composite material.
- 9. Use of the self-lubricating epoxy composite material according to claim 6 or 7 or the self-lubricating epoxy composite material prepared by the preparation method according to claim 8 for preparing polymer bearings.

The self-lubricating material is a functional material which can provide continuous lubrication by self without adding lubricant in the working process. The microcapsule encapsulating the lubricant is used as a self-lubricating material, so that the liquid lubricant can be released from the microcapsule to the interface when the friction process (load or temperature) is triggered, the defect of external lubrication is overcome, and the durability of the effective lubrication process can be improved. The shell of the microcapsules encapsulating the lubricant has an important influence on the performance, wherein the thermal stability of the organic shell needs to be improved, the inorganic shell structure is loose, and the encapsulation performance is poor, so that the application of the microcapsules encapsulating the lubricant is greatly limited.
