The acousto-optic controlled delay switch according to claim 5 wherein at least two of said light transmitting holes are arranged circumferentially around the transparent cover or at least two of said light transmitting holes are arranged in a linear array in the transverse and longitudinal directions of the horizontal plane of the panel.
