A processing method of an automobile top cover comprises the following steps: S1, drawing, namely manufacturing a raw material plate into a semi-finished automobile top cover through a drawing die; S2, trimming and punching, wherein partial plate allowance is reserved at the outer sides of two ends of the tail part of the semi-finished automobile roof during trimming, and punching is performed at a preset position of the plate allowance; S3, shaping, namely shaping the semi-finished automobile top cover with the plate allowance through a shaping die, wherein the part, close to the automobile top cover, of the punching area of the plate allowance is subjected to arc treatment, and the radius of the arc is not less than 5mm; s4, trimming the side of the semi-finished automobile top cover according to the set part outline, and finishing the manufacturing of the finished automobile top cover; the sheet material allowance at two ends of the semi-finished automobile top cover is connected through waste materials, the part of the sizing die corresponding to the sheet material allowance is provided with a supplementary sizing area, the connecting part of the waste materials and the sheet material allowance is provided with a supplementary material pressing area, and the waste materials and the sheet material allowance are trimmed and turned in the step S4.
