Background The radioactive dry waste of the nuclear power plant is generally sorted and then is filled into 160L or 200L steel drums, and the steel drums are manually capped and then sent to an overpressure machine for overpressure so as to be changed into drum cakes. The over-pressurized barrel cake is filled into a 200L or 400L steel barrel by adopting a compaction cake gripper so as to carry out subsequent cement fixation.
