The spring-activated fall arrest device as set forth in claim 1 wherein said fall arrest lock further comprises a roller pin row having a groove in a downward wedge surface of said upper wedge and said roller pin row being mounted in a groove in a downward wedge surface of said upper wedge and in rolling contact with an upward wedge surface of said lower wedge.
- 5. The spring activated fall arrest device as claimed in claim 4, wherein the lower wedge is further removably mounted with a friction block.
