Description
Image forming apparatus having a plurality of image forming units Technical Field The present invention relates to an image forming apparatus such as a printer, a copier, a facsimile machine, or a multifunction machine. Background An image forming apparatus is equipped with, for example, a main control substrate for controlling the operation of the entire image forming apparatus, a drive control substrate for controlling the drive of a rotary member such as a photosensitive drum by a motor, and an electric component substrate such as a high-voltage substrate for controlling various voltages for realizing charging, developing, and transferring by a power supply. A photosensitive drum, which is highly frequently detached in order to periodically replace, clean, or remove a jammed sheet, is arranged in a casing (this casing is also referred to as a device main body), and the photosensitive drum is attachable to and detachable from the device from the front by an operator. Further, the electrical component substrate is arranged on the back surface of the apparatus main body so as not to be erroneously touched by a user who uses the image forming apparatus and not to be disturbed when attaching and detaching the photosensitive drum. Heretofore, there has been proposed a device having a controller box storing a main control substrate, the controller box being pivotably disposed on a housing so that by pivoting the controller box, an operator can access a drive unit disposed on the depth side of the housing (japanese patent application laid-open No. 2005-215199). A drive control substrate for controlling driving and a drive unit serving as a control target such as a motor are connected by a harness (bundle wire) in which a plurality of signal lines are bundled, and in order to reduce the length of the harness, the drive control substrate is disposed closer to the drive unit than the main control substrate. According to the device disclosed in japanese patent application laid-open No.2005-215199, the drive control substrate is arranged between the drive unit and the controller box in the front-rear direction of the image forming device. However, in this case, the driving unit is hidden by the driving control substrate, so that the operability of the driving unit by the operator is deteriorated. For example, when maintenance of the drive unit is performed, the operator can access the drive unit after pivoting the controller box and removing the drive control substrate, so that the operation is time-consuming and it is difficult to perform an effective operation on the drive unit. In view of the above-described problems, an object of the present technology is to provide an image forming apparatus capable of enhancing operability of a driving unit by an operator, the driving unit being arranged on a depth side of a housing as compared with an electric component substrate arranged in a stacked manner. Disclosure of Invention According to a first aspect of the present invention, an image forming apparatus for forming an image on a recording material includes a frame, an image forming unit contained in the frame and configured to form an image on the recording material, a first electric component unit disposed on a rear surface of the image forming apparatus and configured to switch between an open state and a closed state with respect to the frame, a first electric component substrate configured to communicate with an external apparatus, the first electric component substrate being mounted to the first electric component unit, a second electric component unit disposed on the rear surface of the image forming apparatus and configured to change between the open state and the closed state with respect to the frame, and a second electric component substrate configured to communicate with the first electric component substrate and control the image forming unit, the second electric component substrate being mounted to the second electric component unit. The first electric component unit is configured to pivot about a first pivot shaft located on a first side in a width direction of the image forming apparatus, the first pivot shaft extending in a direction intersecting the width direction and a front-rear direction of the image forming apparatus. The second electric component unit is configured to pivot about a second pivot shaft located on a second side different from the first side in a width direction of the image forming apparatus, the second pivot shaft extending in a direction intersecting the width direction and the front-rear direction. In a state in which the first electric component unit and the second electric component unit are in the closed state, the second electric component unit is located between the first electric component unit and the image forming unit in the front-rear direction of the image forming apparatus.
