CN-116762305-B - Method for communication, terminal device, network device and computer readable medium
Abstract
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a scheme for CSI reporting. In a method for communication, a terminal device receives one or more configurations for at least one of a first CSI, a second CSI, or a third CSI in a Channel State (CSI) reporting setting. The one or more configurations in the CSI reporting setting include at least one of at least two rank restrictions or at least two codebook subset restrictions (CBSR). The terminal device transmits at least one of the first CSI, the second CSI, or the third CSI to a network device based on the one or more configurations.

Description
Method for communication, terminal device, network device and computer readable medium Technical Field Embodiments of the present disclosure relate generally to the field of communications, and more particularly, to schemes for Channel State Information (CSI) reporting. Background The 5G New Radio (NR) is a global standard for a unified and more capable 5G wireless air interface. 5G implements a new type of network designed to virtually connect everyone and everything together, including machines, objects, and devices. Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) technology is a method for using multiple transmit and receive antennas to multiply the capacity of a radio link with multipath propagation. MIMO includes functional features that facilitate the utilization of a large number of antenna elements at a Base Station (BS) for below 6GHz and above 6 GHz. In third generation partnership project (3 GPP) release 17 (rel-17), further enhanced MIMO (FeMIMO) techniques are introduced to improve the management of beam forming and beam steering and reduce the associated overhead. Furthermore, in Rel-17, work Item Description (WID) on FeMIMO in NR has agreed to enhance CSI measurement and reporting for multiple transmission/reception points (multi-TRP). Regarding CSI measurements associated with CSI reporting settings for non-coherent joint transmission (NCJT), it has been recognized that non-zero power (NZP) channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) resources for channel measurements should be associated with different TRP/Transmission Configuration Indication (TCI) states on a resource level (at least for multi-Downlink Control Indication (DCI) based and single DCI based schemes). However, there is no suitable scheme for CSI reporting, in particular with respect to multi-TRP transmission, and thus still cannot benefit therefrom. Thus, in NR systems, an improved scheme for CSI reporting is needed. Disclosure of Invention In general, embodiments of the present disclosure provide a scheme for CSI reporting.
