Description

Conveying device, method for painting a motor vehicle body and painting device Technical Field The invention relates to a conveying device for conveying motor vehicles, in particular for conveying motor vehicles during painting. The invention further relates to a method for painting a motor vehicle body. Finally, the invention relates to a painting device for painting a motor vehicle body. Background One of the biggest challenges in painting large workpieces is the transportation of the workpiece itself. The large workpiece may in particular be a motor vehicle body. Since motor vehicle bodies generally have no wheels before final assembly, motor vehicle bodies produced in body manufacture, for example, require transport by means of body receptacles, body fastening parts and/or body holding parts. In particular, semifinished motor vehicle bodies can therefore be transported through different production steps of the vehicle production, for example through a paint shop. EP0271008B1 shows a conveying device for conveying motor vehicle bodies. Disclosure of Invention The object of the present invention is to provide a conveyor device, a painting method and a painting device, by means of which motor vehicle bodies can be painted in a mass production manner, advantageously and in particular at a flexible distance, wherein the painting is carried out in particular in a spray booth. A first aspect of the invention relates to a conveying device for conveying motor vehicle bodies, in particular for conveying during the painting or varnishing process in motor vehicle manufacture. The conveying device according to the invention is intended for conveying along a conveying path without a loading slide and has at least one chain conveyor which comprises at least one strand circulating over the conveying path, on which strand correspondingly alternating fixed and loose receiving elements are arranged at a predetermined distance from one another over the entire length of the strand. These fixed and loose receiving elements can be moved along the conveying path by means of the strand and in particular together with the strand (i.e. respectively fixedly connected to the strand and thus having the same speed). According to the invention, the respective fastening and receiving element is designed to receive and fasten a cross beam detachably connected to the motor vehicle body, in particular in the conveying direction, and the respective loose receiving element has a placement region on which a further cross beam detachably connected to the motor vehicle body can be supported, wherein the same cross beam distance across the vehicle model is observed between the cross beam and the further cross beam, and the distance between one fastening and the loose receiving element following the fastening and receiving element corresponds to a cross beam distance between the cross beam and the further cross beam of 2000 mm to 3000 mm. In other words, a loose receiving element follows a fixing receiving element on the strand, which in turn follows a fixing receiving element. In this case, a distance is correspondingly defined between a fastening and a loosening element following the fastening element, wherein the length of the strand is in particular an even multiple of this distance, so that a fastening and a loosening element are arranged alternately uniformly over the entire length of the strand, and a fastening and a loosening element also alternate where a "chain end" meets a "chain start". A respective painting cross-member, i.e. the cross-member and the further cross-member, is arranged on the respective motor vehicle body, or on the motor vehicle body, in particular transversely to the vehicle longitudinal direction in the front region and transversely to the vehicle longitudinal direction in the rear region, for example on the substructure. They serve as body holders for transporting motor vehicle bodies by means of a transport device. For example, the respective body or motor vehicle body is coupled, in particular during transport by the transport device, with the respective two cross members, for example by screwing, wherein the distance of the cross members on the motor vehicle body is selected such that it corresponds to the distance between the fastening receiving element and the loose receiving element, such that a first cross member of the cross members of the motor vehicle body is arranged in one of the fastening receiving elements and a second cross member is arranged in one of the loose receiving elements. However, a plurality of loose receiving elements and a plurality of fixed receiving elements may be provided between two elements (i.e. one fixed receiving element and one loose receiving element) which respectively receive the cross beam. The respective cross beam or the painting cross beam can in particular be designed such that it has in principle transverse guides for positioning the motor vehicle body perpendicularly
