Description
Liquid dispenser Technical Field The present invention relates to a liquid dispenser for dispensing liquids, in particular for dispensing pharmaceutical or cosmetic liquids. Background A liquid dispenser of this type is formed with a liquid reservoir for containing liquid prior to discharge and a discharge head with a discharge opening through which liquid can be discharged when required. By means of a pump device or other means, the user can apply pressure to the liquid from the liquid reservoir and thereby can output the liquid through the discharge opening. It is known that such liquid dispensers can have a protective cap which is removable for the output liquid, said protective cap mechanically protecting the discharge opening in the plugged state. However, in order to enable a rapid drying of the residual liquid which may remain, such a cap may have at least one ventilation opening through which ambient air can flow into the cap interior in the plugged-in state of the protective cap. Such a protective cap is known from DE 10 2013 226 250 A1. The ventilation opening of the cap proposed here has an outer circumferential surface with an outer diameter that remains substantially unchanged and an end face, wherein the ventilation opening is provided in the outer circumferential surface or in the end face. In order to prevent dirt and germs from penetrating until the liquid dispenser is put into use, it is proposed in the document mentioned that the ventilation opening is kept closed by means of a glue strip or by means of a section connected in one piece to the cap until the liquid dispenser is put into use. The vent opening is opened only when the liquid dispenser is put into use, so as to allow venting of the discharge opening during the use phase of the liquid dispenser. Disclosure of Invention The object of the invention is to improve a liquid distributor of this type in such a way that a ventilated protective cap can be realized in an improved manner. According to the invention, a liquid dispenser is proposed for this purpose, which generally has a liquid reservoir for holding liquid prior to discharge and a discharge head with a discharge opening. The liquid reservoir is defined by a bottle. It is particularly preferred that the bottle body can be a squeeze bottle body, i.e. a bottle body composed of plastic, which can be compressed against a restoring force in order to put the liquid in the liquid reservoir under pressure and thereby drain the liquid. For example, polyethylene is considered as a material for such bottles. Alternatively, rigid bottles may be used. The liquid reservoir preferably has an internal volume of less than 20ml, in particular an internal volume of between 5 ml and 15 ml. In the delivery state, the liquid reservoir is filled with the liquid to be discharged, in particular with a pharmaceutical liquid. The liquid dispenser according to the invention may in particular be provided for ophthalmic use, i.e. for application into the eyes of a user. Accordingly, the liquid reservoir may be filled with an eye drop, in particular a cyclosporine eye drop. The discharge head is fixed at the bottle surrounding the liquid reservoir, for example by means of a snap-fit connection or a screw-thread connection. In principle, a one-piece design is also possible. The discharge head has a base with an upper, i.e. outer annular surface pointing away from the liquid reservoir, which is of substantially planar design. The coupling means for coupling with the bottle body are preferably arranged at the preferably cylindrical base. The mentioned annular surface encloses the applicator nipple, which protrudes beyond the annular surface. The applicator nipple has an elongated and substantially cylindrical shape. The central axis of the applicator adapter tube preferably extends coaxially with the central axis of the substantially flat annular face and the base. The normal vector on the annular face encloses an angle of less than 20 ° with the central axis of the applicator adapter tube. The substantially cylindrical shape of the applicator nipple is also understood to be a shape with low conicity. An applicator nozzle, in the sense of the present invention, whose angle subtended from the proximal end up to the outer circumferential surface of the distal end over the height of the annular surface is less than 10 ° with respect to the central axis of the applicator nozzle, is understood to be essentially cylindrical. An elongated shape is understood to mean that the length of the cylindrical applicator nipple is greater than its average diameter. Preferably, the length is at least 50% greater than the average diameter. The discharge opening is provided at the distal end of the applicator nipple. The outlet opening has an outlet direction which preferably coincides with the orientation of the central axis of the applicator adapter tube. The applicator nipple has a length of preferably at least 9 mm, particul
