- 1. The double-sided circular knitting machine comprises a knitting mouth, at least one yarn feeding port for feeding two yarns towards the knitting mouth, at least one upper knitting needle cam, a plurality of upper knitting needles guided by the at least one upper knitting needle cam, at least one lower knitting needle cam and a plurality of lower knitting needles guided by the at least one lower knitting needle cam, wherein the two yarns are staggered at a narrowing point positioned in the knitting mouth, and the double-sided circular knitting machine is characterized in that: The double-sided circular knitting machine is provided with a needle selector, each lower knitting needle is controlled by the needle selector to have two needle retraction states, each lower knitting needle is provided with a yarn hooking point in each needle retraction state, the positions of the two yarn hooking points at the knitting mouth are different, the distances between the two yarn hooking points and the needle retraction points are different, each lower knitting needle hooks two yarns at one of the two yarn hooking points, and the relative position between the two yarns at the present time determines that the looping is one of positive wrapping and negative wrapping.

The double-sided circular knitting machine according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that each of said lower needles has a first half-needle position, each of said upper needles has a second half-needle position, each of said lower needles has in each of said contracted states a first contracted starting point starting from said first half-needle position, each of said upper needles has a second contracted starting point starting from said second half-needle position, said second contracted starting point being intermediate between the positions of said knitting mouth of two of said first contracted starting points.
- 4. A double-sided circular knitting machine according to claim 3, characterized in that each yarn has a yarn feeding path, the two yarn feeding paths being different, the extension lines of the two yarn feeding paths being staggered in the take-up point.
- 5. The double-sided circular knitting machine of claim 4 wherein each of said lower needles has a first clearing point in each of said retracted states and each of said upper needles has a second clearing point when active, said upper needles entering said second clearing point at a time point that is earlier than a time point at which said lower needles enter said first clearing point.

The double-sided circular knitting machine according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that each of said lower needles has a first loop clearing point in each of said contracted state, each of said upper needles has a second loop clearing point when active, the point of time of entry of said upper needle into said second loop clearing point being earlier than the point of time of entry of said lower needle into said first loop clearing point.
