Description

Electronic device and display assembly The application is a divisional application of an application patent application with the application number 202210429699.8 and the name of a narrow-boundary display, wherein the application date is 2022, 4, 22. Cross Reference to Related Applications The present application claims the benefit of U.S. provisional patent application No. 63/178,692 entitled "NARROW BORDER DISPLAY" filed on 4/23 at 2021, the disclosure of which is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety. Technical Field The described embodiments relate generally to components for electronic devices. More particularly, the present embodiments relate to components and structures for electronic devices. Background Components of an electronic device (e.g., a display assembly and associated components of an electronic device) may include structures having features tailored for the particular purpose for which they are employed. For example, these components may be configured to provide physical support or protection for other components of the electronic device, or to provide optical enhancement. Furthermore, the components of the electronic device may be designed to provide a unique and pleasing look and feel to the user. In addition, these components may be designed to optimize one or more dimensions of the device, such as the amount of active area of the display. Recent developments in electronic devices have achieved a high level of performance. However, existing components, structures, and methods of assembly of electronic devices may limit the performance level of such devices. For example, conventional components may limit the amount or relative percentage of the active area of the display. Similarly, conventional approaches to device assembly may include features or components that inhibit device performance or user experience. Further, conventional structures and methods for assembling electronic devices may undesirably limit one or more dimensions of the device relative to a single dimension of each component. In this regard, further adjustments to the components for the electronic device may provide additional or enhanced functionality, desired dimensions, and pleasing aesthetic features.
