A pretreatment method of electrophoresis wastewater is characterized in that electrophoresis deposition is adopted in an electrochemical reactor for coupling electrochemical oxidation of the electrophoresis wastewater to carry out electrochemical treatment, so that the treated electrophoresis wastewater is obtained, wherein the pH value of the electrophoresis wastewater is regulated to be 1.5-2 before the electrochemical treatment, organic matters in the electrophoresis wastewater are positively charged, and electrophoresis deposition occurs on a cathode.
