Description
Composition for protecting hair, repairing damaged hair or strengthening hair Cross Reference to Related Applications The present application claims priority from korean patent application No. 10-2024-0101975, filed on 7/31 of 2024, the entire contents of which are incorporated herein by reference. The present application claims priority from korean patent application No. 10-2024-0172277, filed on 11/27 of 2024, the entire contents of which are incorporated herein by reference. Technical Field The present disclosure relates to a composition for protecting hair or strengthening hair and the corresponding use of the composition. Background For cosmetic purposes, chemical treatments of hair such as permanent waves and hair dyes are increasing, resulting in nonspecific damage to various structural proteins or lipid components constituting the hair. Eyebrows and eyelashes are shorter, thinner and less numerous than other parts of the hair (e.g., hair), and therefore are weaker in physicochemical irritation than other parts of the hair (e.g., hair), and when damaged, the cosmetic loss is greater. Hair (e.g., hair, eyebrows, eyelashes) is mainly composed of Mao Biaopi (cuticle), fur (cotex), cell membrane complex (cell membrane complex, hereinafter abbreviated CMC), and medulla (medulla). Physical stimulation mainly results in damage to the hair cuticle, while chemical stimulation mainly causes loss of CMC and pelage. When repeatedly exposed to such stimuli, irreversible changes may occur to the hair (e.g., hair, eyebrows, lashes) which ultimately result in damage, breakage and/or flaking of the hair (e.g., hair, eyebrows, lashes) or which become fragile, failing to form the cosmetic styling desired by the individual. In order to restore the tensile strength of the hair to a level before injury, there is a method of filling the gaps between the CMC and the cortex that have been lost with a predetermined composition and reinforcing the structural strength of the hair by combining the predetermined composition. However, it is difficult to restore CMC composed of a lipid layer using a conventional hair composition containing an organic acid or the like. [ Prior Art literature ] [ Patent literature ] Korean patent No. 10-2084765 Disclosure of Invention Technical problem In one aspect of the present disclosure, it is intended to provide a peptide or peptide derivative that consists of substances present in the human body, thereby significantly reducing the risk of irritation, while supplementing damaged components in the hair (e.g., hair, eyebrows, eyelashes), strengthening the strength and elasticity of the hair (e.g., hair, eyebrows, eyelashes). In one aspect of the present disclosure, it is intended to provide a peptide having a protective hair effect, a repair damaged hair effect, or an enhanced hair effect. In one aspect of the present disclosure, it is intended to provide a peptide derivative having a protective hair effect, a repair damaged hair effect, or an enhanced hair effect. In one aspect of the present disclosure, it is intended to provide a composition for protecting hair, repairing damaged hair, or strengthening hair. Technical proposal A peptide according to an aspect of the present disclosure as a peptide comprising one or more sequence units consisting of Xaa-Yaa-Zaa, wherein Xaa, yaa and Zaa are each independently selected from the group consisting of C (Cys; cysteine), K (Lys; lysine), W (Trp; tryptophan), V (Val; valine), L (Leu; leucine) and F (Phe; phenylalanine), the Xaa, yaa and Zaa being different from each other, wherein Xaa and Yaa are C and K, respectively, and Zaa is not L.
