Abstract

The invention belongs to the technical field of Hippocampus culture, and discloses a feed additive for promoting the growth of Hippocampus kelvin and application thereof, in particular to a feed additive, which comprises carotenoid, sea squirt powder, oyster powder, mannooligosaccharide, probiotics and vitamins. The invention provides a feed additive containing carotene, sea squirt powder, oyster powder, mannooligosaccharide, probiotics, vitamins and the like, which is added into baits for hippocampus, can remarkably promote the growth of the hippocampus (remarkably improve the weight gain rate, specific growth rate and growth rate of the body length of the hippocampus) and can also improve the culture survival rate of the hippocampus. The feed additive is not only beneficial to improving the economic benefit of the sea horse cultivation, but also provides powerful technical support for the sustainable development of the sea horse cultivation industry.

Description

Feed additive for promoting growth of Hippocampus kelloggi and application thereof Technical Field The invention belongs to the technical field of Hippocampus culture, and particularly relates to a feed additive for promoting growth of Hippocampus kelvin and application thereof. Background The artificial breeding industry of sea horses, which is a marine organism with important medical and ornamental value, is gradually rising. However, in the artificial cultivation process of the sea horse, the development of the sea horse cultivation industry is severely restricted by the problems of slow growth speed, low immunity, easy infection diseases and the like. The feed is used as a material basis for the growth and development of the sea horse, and plays a key role in the growth, health and quality of the sea horse. At present, feed additives for hippocampus cultivation in the market are various in variety, but most of the feed additives have the problems of unbalanced nutritional ingredients and weak pertinence. The traditional feed additive only pays attention to the addition of conventional nutritional ingredients such as protein, vitamin and the like, and the requirements of special amino acids, bioactive substances and trace elements in the growth process of the sea horse are ignored. For example, the lack of probiotics which can effectively promote intestinal digestion and absorption of the hippocampus, resulting in lower utilization rate of the feed by the hippocampus, and the lack of immunopotentiator which can enhance the immunity of the hippocampus and resist attack of diseases, so that the hippocampus is easy to be infected by pathogens such as bacteria, viruses and the like in the cultivation process, resulting in higher death rate. In addition, the existing feed additive has no obvious effect on promoting the growth and development of the sea horse, and cannot meet the requirement of the fast growth of the sea horse, so that the cultivation period is prolonged, and the cultivation cost is increased. Therefore, the development of a feed additive formula capable of effectively promoting the growth of hippocampus, enhancing immunity and improving the utilization rate of feed has important practical significance.
