Description
Composition for improving learning memory and/or cognitive function and application thereof Technical Field The invention relates to the technical field of functional nutrient research, in particular to a composition for improving learning, memory and/or cognitive functions and application thereof. Background Learning memory and cognitive function are affected by multiple factors including, but not limited to, developmental/aging processes, sleep and psychological stress, metabolic and inflammatory states, reduced neural network plasticity, and environmental poison exposure. The existing intervention path is mainly concentrated on a single nutrient or pharmacological mechanism, has limitation on action targets, applicable groups and compliance, and is difficult to obtain stable and broad-spectrum improvement effects in the situation of memory decline caused by multiple causes. At the same time, the combined nutritional regimen of food-grade, scalable and taste-friendly is still deficient in preclinical and inversion levels, suggesting that this direction has urgent research and development requirements. Disclosure of Invention It is an object of the present invention to provide a composition that helps to promote and/or improve learning memory and/or cognitive function. It is a further object of the present invention to provide related applications of the composition. The present invention aims to provide a safe and effective composition which can effectively enhance or improve learning memory and cognitive functions, in particular, can improve the expression of markers related to spatial memory and neural development. The inventor of the present application found that the combination of alpha-phosphorylcholine (alpha-GPC) and galactose can improve learning and memory and/or cognitive functions of individuals, and particularly has a synergistic effect on improving learning and memory decline and/or cognitive function decline. Alpha-phosphorylcholine is a choline donor and participates in the synthesis of acetylcholine and membrane phospholipids. Galactose is a food-derived monosaccharide obtained by lactose hydrolysis, and can be used as an energy substrate for brain tissue. Most of the prior art uses are binary, either alone or with other ingredients. Existing animal studies often use D-galactose for intraperitoneal injection to induce sub-acute aging/cognitive impairment models. In contrast, the studies of the present invention have found that oral administration of α -phosphorylcholine (α -GPC) in combination with galactose can enhance learning memory and/or cognitive function. In one aspect, the invention provides a composition for improving and/or enhancing learning and memory and/or cognitive function in an individual, the composition comprising alpha-phosphorylcholine and galactose, wherein the mass ratio of alpha-phosphorylcholine to galactose is 1 (8-100). According to some embodiments of the invention, the composition of the invention has a mass ratio of α -phosphorylcholine to galactose of 1 (16-100). According to some embodiments of the invention, the composition of the invention has a mass ratio of α -phosphorylcholine to galactose of 1 (20-40). According to some embodiments of the invention, the composition of the invention has a mass ratio of α -phosphorylcholine to galactose of 1 (60-80). According to a specific embodiment of the present invention, the α -phosphorylcholine is L- α -phosphorylcholine in the composition for improving and/or improving learning memory and/or cognitive function of an individual according to the present invention. The raw materials for providing the alpha-phosphorylcholine can be the raw materials of the alpha-phosphorylcholine with higher commercial purity, which are usually provided by animal milk (cow milk, sheep milk, buffalo milk and camel milk) or animal milk enrichment and extraction, and also can be provided by a chemical method, specifically, polyphosphoric acid, choline chloride, R-3-chloro-1, 2-propanediol, sodium hydroxide and water are used as raw materials, and the alpha-phosphorylcholine is prepared by the processes of decoloring, impurity removal, concentration, refining, drying and the like after condensation and esterification reaction. The ratio of the α -phosphorylcholine to other functional components in the compositions of the present invention is based on the α -phosphorylcholine content of the starting materials, unless otherwise noted. According to a specific embodiment of the present invention, the galactose is D-galactose in the composition for improving and/or improving learning memory and/or cognitive function of an individual. D-galactose is commercially available, can be obtained by exogenous or endogenous enzymatic hydrolysis of lactose, and can be derived from lactose of equimolar mass (i.e., from galactose produced by decomposition of endogenous lactase in the body after ingestion of lactose by the human body), can be provided fro
