A process for the preparation of a soothing gel composition according to any of claims 1 to 9, comprising the steps of: S1, mixing a solvent, a humectant and a thickener, heating to 80 ℃, and stirring for 5min at 1500r/min under heat preservation to obtain a material A; S2, uniformly mixing a skin conditioning agent and a surfactant, adding the mixture into the material A, maintaining the temperature at 3000r/min at 80 ℃ and stirring for 5min, and cooling to 38 ℃ to obtain a material B; S3, uniformly mixing an astringent, a preservative, a repairing agent, a colorant and a soothing factor, adding the mixture into the material B, carrying out heat preservation and stirring at 3500r/min for 8min at 38 ℃, and discharging to obtain the soothing gel composition.
