Description

Application of cheese bacillus paracasei in preparation of products for improving male reproductive health Technical Field The invention belongs to the technical field of microorganisms, and particularly relates to application of lactobacillus paracasei in preparation of products for improving male reproductive health. Background Erectile Dysfunction (ED) refers to the inability of the penis to achieve and maintain a sufficient state of erection, the most common sexual dysfunction in men. With age, the incidence of ED increases, severely affecting quality of life. Physiological penile erection is a vascular response under neuromodulation. The sexual stimulation nerve signals are transmitted down from the hypothalamic erection center to the cavernous nerve, and then transmitted to the penile tissue through the non-adrenal non-cholinergic nerve, causing the nerve endings and endothelial cells to release bioactive factors, causing the cavernous congestion to distend. Since penile erection is essentially a neurovascular process, vascular endothelial dysfunction is one of the important causes of ED. In recent years, research on the pathogenesis of ED has focused mainly on the destruction of endothelial cell function by oxidative damage. Active oxygen not only reacts directly with NO to reduce it, but also reduces nitric oxide synthase activity, thereby affecting the relaxation of the cavernous body, resulting in ED. A plurality of factors such as endothelin-1, angiotensin and the like can activate NADPH oxidase, catalyze the generation of a large amount of active oxygen, and finally damage the penile erection function. Thus, protecting endothelial function has become a new approach to treating ED. Chronic Prostatitis (CP) is a common and frequently occurring disease of the urology department. Investigation showed that 43% of the patients with prostatitis suffer from erectile dysfunction. Inflammation of the prostate site will further exacerbate the ED symptoms, causing a vicious circle. The common preparations for treating ED at present mainly comprise antioxidants, folic acid, vitamins, polyphenols, carnitine, vasodilators, statin drugs and the like, but certain drugs have side effects such as headache and blood pressure rise, and the like, so that safe and effective treatment methods are needed. Disclosure of Invention In view of the above, it is an object of the present invention to provide the use of lactobacillus paracasei for the preparation of a product for improving reproductive health in men.
