The sound-absorbing cotton for automobile damping and sound-absorbing is characterized by comprising, by weight, 10-20 parts of carbon fibers, 30-40 parts of glass fibers, 20-30 parts of polyacrylonitrile fibers, 25-35 parts of plant fibers, 25-32 parts of polyethylene terephthalate fibers, 8-10 parts of hollow ceramic microsphere-activated carbon composite particles, 10-12 parts of phenolic resin, 4-6 parts of surfactants, 0.8-1.2 parts of water repellent, 3-5 parts of polyethylene glycol diglycidyl ether and 30-40 parts of water.
