Description
Acoustic enclosure with interchangeable side panels Technical Field The invention relates to the technical field of sound boxes (also called acoustic boxes). More particularly, the present invention relates to acoustic enclosures that include removable and interchangeable cover walls. Background The acoustic enclosure typically comprises a main body supporting sound generating means, in particular one or more loudspeakers. The main body has an acoustic function to separate front and rear sound waves emitted from the speaker. For aesthetic reasons, the body may be covered with an outer cover panel, such as a cover, front panel or side panel, etc. It is often not possible to personalize the case and the outer cover element of the case merges with the main body of the case. This is the same part. However, today's consumers are increasingly demanding personalization of their technical equipment, in particular the ability to change and/or repair certain components of the tank, without having to replace all the components. This behaviour forces manufacturers to provide their boxes with various possible finishes by providing their box cover panels with different materials, shapes and colours. However, the addition of these specifications is problematic and costly for the manufacturer. Making the manufacture of the box difficult and complicating inventory management. It is therefore of interest for manufacturers to have a single box body model to which a large number of different cover panels can be secured indifferently, depending on the individual needs of the consumer. Furthermore, acoustic enclosures (especially high-end acoustic enclosures) are quite costly and consumers are interested in retaining them for as long as possible. Nevertheless, in order to have a more recent feel, consumers also want to be able to change the aesthetic appearance of the case one or more times during the lifetime of the device, for example to match it with a new interior design. It would therefore be attractive if the cover panels were removable and interchangeable. In the prior art, most of the cases do not have a cover panel, and the main body ensures an attractive appearance. This is always the case, in particular, when the tank has a large body and/or has curved or nonplanar lines. However, some tank models have been proposed with removable and interchangeable side panels, such as the CHAMELEON TM tank sold by Sonus FABER TM or the tank described in document CN 207218975 or DE 3127226. However, these models allow personalization of only a limited portion of the case. In practice, the interchangeable side panels cover only a limited portion of the box. They are also planar in shape and are all made of the same material, for example of a rigid plastic material or painted wood. The side plates are fastened to the body of the box by a set of pins and clips which engage the associated openings by translational movement. However, such fastening systems are not suitable for large cover panels, because, due to manufacturing tolerances, the clip and the pin are very far from each other and can no longer be in front of the respective opening. The fastening system is also incompatible with cover panels having complex non-planar shapes (in particular curved shapes) and cannot allow the clips and pins to be moved by simple translation. Thus, there is a need for a case that includes removable side panels that are easily interchangeable by the user and that can be large, covering a large portion of the body of the case, and that has a complex aesthetic shape, particularly a curve. For better individualization options, it is also desirable to be able to provide various material choices for different compatible side panels, in particular wood, plastic materials, metal, linen, carbon fiber or for example "wool-like" profiled felts. However, these materials each have different weight and stiffness characteristics. Satisfactory fastening systems have not been proposed which are compatible with all these materials and which are also suitable for large non-planar cover panels. Also, regardless of the shape, material and size of the side panels, the replacement of the side panels should be simple and quick so that the user can easily do so himself. Furthermore, it is desirable that the side panels after replacement continue to ensure a satisfactory aesthetic effect of the visible portion of the box, especially when the box comprises several side panels, and even if these side panels are of complex shape, good alignment of the replaced panels in the front of the box is achieved. Finally, since these removable side panels and their fastening means are directed towards the acoustic enclosure, they must preferably be acoustically neutral, i.e. they cannot interfere with the generation and distribution of sound, nor be a source of unwanted noise that can reduce the quality of the sound produced by the enclosure. All these conditions mean that this require
