Description
Application of pentadecanoic acid compounds and/or heptadecanoic acid compounds in improving animal reproductive performance Technical Field The invention belongs to the technical field of animal breeding. More particularly, to the use of pentadecanoic acid compounds and/or heptadecanoic acid compounds for improving reproductive performance in animals. Background The reproductive capacity of farmed animals is a core factor in determining whether the farming industry is successful or not, efficient reproduction means more offspring output, and it directly affects the farming efficiency, economic benefit and sustainable development of industry. How to increase the number of living parent and healthy parent is one of the important problems of increasing the economic benefit of the breeding industry and maintaining the sustainable development of the industry. In the prior art, medium-chain fatty acid (even-carbon fatty acid with 6-12 carbon atoms) is often added into piglet feed to improve the growth performance (such as daily gain or feed conversion rate), but no obvious influence (CHEN J,XU Q,LI Y,et al.Comparative effects of dietary supplementations with sodium butyrate,medium-chain fatty acids, and n-3polyunsaturated fatty acids in late pregnancy and lactation on the reproductive performance of sows and growth performance of suckling piglets[J].Journal of Animal Science,2019,97(10):4256-4267.). on the number of live piglets and birth weight is found when the medium-chain fatty acid is added into sow daily ration, and although the fatty acid is one of important energy supply substances for influencing the growth, development and propagation of animals, the fatty acid with different types and different chain lengths has different effects on the growth, development and propagation of animals. At present, the fat used in animal feed is even carbon chain fatty acid, the research on odd carbon chain fatty acid is relatively less, and the metabolism in animal body and the influence on production performance are not thoroughly studied. The main difference between odd-chain fatty acids and even-chain fatty acids is their number of carbon atoms, the former being odd and the latter being even. This structural difference results in their products after oxidative metabolism by fatty acid beta, with the metabolic products of even chain fatty acids being mainly acetyl-coa and the metabolic products of odd chain fatty acids being mainly propionyl-coa. In the tricarboxylic acid cycle, acetyl-coa combines with oxaloacetic acid to form citric acid, which after entering the cycle is thoroughly oxidized to form carbon dioxide and water, releasing energy for ATP synthesis. propionyl-CoA is converted to methylmalonyl-CoA and ultimately to succinyl-CoA, which enters the tricarboxylic acid cycle (ADVANCES IN Nutrition Volume 7,Issue 4,July 2016,Pages 730-734). Odd-chain fatty acids are a special class of fatty acids which are widely present in microorganisms and animals and plants, but are very small in content, and the odd-chain fatty acids in the lipids of higher animals account for about 1-5% of the total amount. Pentadecanoic acid (also known as pentadecanoic acid, C15:0, pentadecanoic acid) is the main component of odd-chain fatty acids of higher animals, and research in recent years shows that pentadecanoic acid participates in regulating the metabolism of glycolipid of organisms and plays an important role in regulating physiological processes such as apoptosis, redox balance and the like, while heptadecanoic acid (also known as heptadecanoic acid, C17:0, heptadecanoic Acid) is more special and exists in part of microorganisms, ruminant muscles and milk fat in small amounts. In recent years, research shows that the heptadecanoic acid has medical field applications (ONCOLOGY REPORTS 41:3499-3507,2019;Molecules 2015,20,2425-2444;Nutrients 2019,11,998) such as blood sugar reduction, cancer resistance, immunoregulation and the like, is closely related to the health state of human bodies, but the related research on the effect of heptadecanoic acid compounds or pentadecanoic acid compounds on the aspect of animal reproductive performance is still blank, and no related technical report exists. Disclosure of Invention The invention aims to overcome the defects and the shortcomings of the prior art and provide application of pentadecanoic acid compounds and/or heptadecanoic acid compounds in improving animal reproductive performance. The object of the present invention is to provide the use of a composition comprising pentadecanoic acid compounds and/or heptadecanoic acid compounds for improving animal reproductive performance. The invention also aims to provide the application of the feed additive in improving animal reproductive performance. It is another object of the present invention to provide a method for improving reproductive performance in animals. The above object of the present invention is achieved by the following techn
