- 1. An aerosol-generating article comprising an integral smoking segment comprising a smoking base provided with channels extending through at least one end face of the aerosol-generating article in the aerosol-flow direction, at least one of the channels being filled with a flavour filler.
- 2. An aerosol-generating article according to claim 1 in which the channels extend through both ends of the smoking segment in the aerosol-generating article's aerosol-flow direction.
- 3. An aerosol-generating article according to claim 1 in which a plurality of the channels are provided through the smoking substrate, at least one of the channels is not filled with a flavour-imparting filler, and/or the smoking substrate is a loose porous body.
- 4. An aerosol-generating article according to claim 1, wherein the aroma filler comprises a aroma carrier portion and a first fragrance bonded to the aroma carrier portion.
- 5. An aerosol-generating article according to claim 4, wherein the flavour carrier comprises one or more of activated carbon, diatomaceous earth, molecular sieves, porous polymers, and/or the first flavour comprises one or more of furanone, menthol, ethyl maltol.
- 6. An aerosol-generating article according to claim 1 wherein the flavour filler comprises 10 to 20% by mass of the smoking segment.
- 7. An aerosol-generating article according to claim 1 wherein the smoke-generating segment is tubular, ellipsoidal or spherical.
- 8. An aerosol-generating article according to any one of claims 1 to 7 wherein the smoking base is formed by mixing and pressing tobacco powder, a second flavour, a smoking agent, a filler and a binder, and the moisture content of the tobacco powder, the flavour, the smoking agent, the filler and the binder is not more than 5%.
- 9. An aerosol-generating article according to claim 8 in which the second flavour, smoking agent comprise 30 to 50% by mass of the smoking segment.
- 10. The aerosol-generating article according to claim 8, wherein the filler comprises at least one of anhydrous lactose, microcrystalline cellulose.
- 11. An aerosol-generating system comprising an aerosol-generating article according to any of claims 1 to 10, an aerosol-generating device; The aerosol-generating article is for mounting inside and being fully received in a receiving cavity of the aerosol-generating device and being heated by the aerosol-generating device.

A method of making a smoke generating segment according to any one of claims 1 to 10, comprising: Uniformly mixing tobacco powder, a second spice, a fumigant, a filler and an adhesive to obtain a fuming substrate; Stamping the smoking substrate into a smoking substrate having one or more through-channels; filling at least one pore canal with a flavoring filler to obtain a smoke section.

- 15. The method of claim 12 wherein the tobacco powder, filler and binder have a particle size of 30 mesh to 100 mesh and the smoking substrate has a moisture content of 0% to 5%.

The method according to claim 12, wherein the tobacco flavor substance comprises at least one of a monomeric synthetic flavor, a natural flavor material, a fragrance base, and a flavor, and/or The fuming agent comprises at least one of propylene glycol and glycerin, and/or The filler comprises at least one of anhydrous lactose and microcrystalline cellulose, and/or The binder comprises at least one of carboxymethyl cellulose and dextrin.
