The helmet connector of claim 1, wherein said turn-down power-off mechanism further comprises a turn-down locking assembly comprising a cross plate rotatably disposed on said fixed base and a turn-down button disposed on said release frame, wherein pressing said turn-down button drives said cross plate to rotate out of engagement with said release frame to unlock the turn-down function.
- 5. The helmet attachment of claim 4, wherein said flip lock assembly further comprises a cross plate spring for providing a biasing force to said cross plate to maintain engagement with said release shelf.
