Abstract
Provided herein is a Red Light Therapy (RLT) system for a bathing environment that includes at least one of an RLT light bulb and an RLT panel. The RLT bulb and RLT panel may include at least one Light Emitting Diode (LED) for providing at least one of red light and infrared light. When activated, the LED may provide light therapy to the user. As one example, RLT systems may be used in showers, bathtubs, and/or saunas.

Claims (20)
- 1. A Red Light Therapy (RLT) system for use in a shower system, comprising at least one of: An RLT bulb including at least one Light Emitting Diode (LED) for providing at least one of red light and infrared light, and An RLT panel comprising at least one LED for providing at least one of red light and infrared light; Wherein the at least one LED provides light therapy to the user when the at least one LED is activated.
- 2. The RLT system of claim 1, further comprising at least one of: A shower wherein the RLT panel is positioned on a shower wall of the shower, or A bench having a slat wall, wherein the RLT panel is placed behind the slat wall such that light from the at least one LED is emitted through a plurality of slats on the slat wall.
- 3. The RLT system of claim 1, further comprising at least one of: a bathtub, wherein at least one RLT bulb is positioned in the bathtub; A floating blanket, and wherein the RLT panel is positioned on the underside of the floating blanket; A floating accessory, and wherein the RLT panel is positioned on the underside of the floating accessory, or A shower shelf having a movable panel, wherein the RLT panel is positioned on the movable panel such that the at least one LED on the RLT panel is directed in a direction selected by the user.
- 4. The RLT system of claim 1, wherein the RLT panel comprises: A front portion, the front portion comprising: An LED panel including the at least one LED, and An outer panel; A back portion including at least one heat sink.
- 5. The RLT system of claim 4, wherein the LED panel and outer panel are enclosed in a housing.
- 6. The RLT system of claim 4, wherein the front portion is substantially waterproof.
- 7. The RLT system of claim 1, wherein the RLT panel comprises a plurality of vents configured to deliver at least one of air and water to the RLT panel.
- 8. The RLT system of claim 1, wherein the RLT panel has a thickness of at least 2 inches.
- 9. A Red Light Therapy (RLT) system for use in a shower system, comprising: an RLT panel, the RLT panel comprising: at least one Light Emitting Diode (LED) for providing at least one of red light and infrared light, and At least one heat sink; A shower wherein the RLT panel is positioned on a shower wall of the shower; Wherein the at least one LED provides light therapy to the user when the at least one LED is activated.
- 10. The RLT system of claim 9, wherein the RLT panel comprises: A front portion, the front portion comprising: An LED panel including the at least one LED, and An outer panel; a back portion including the at least one heat sink.
- 11. The RLT system of claim 10, wherein the LED panel and outer panel are enclosed in a housing.
- 12. The RLT system of claim 10, wherein the front portion is substantially waterproof.
- 13. The RLT system of claim 9, wherein the RLT panel comprises a plurality of vents configured to deliver at least one of air and water to the RLT panel.
- 14. The RLT system of claim 9, wherein the RLT panel has a thickness of at least 2 inches.
- 15. A Red Light Therapy (RLT) bench, comprising: seat part, and An RLT wall, the RLT wall comprising: at least one Light Emitting Diode (LED) for providing at least one of red light and infrared light, and At least one heat sink; Wherein the at least one LED provides light therapy to the user when the at least one LED is activated.
- 16. The RLT bench of claim 15, wherein the RLT wall comprises: A front portion, the front portion comprising: Vertical support column, and A plurality of slats positioned on the vertical support; A back portion comprising an RLT panel, the RLT panel comprising the at least one LED.
- 17. The RLT bench of claim 16 wherein when the at least one LED is activated, light from the at least one LED extends through a slot formed by the space between the plurality of slats.
- 18. The RLT bench of claim 17 wherein the angle of light extending from the at least one LED is 22 degrees.
- 19. The RLT bench of claim 17 wherein light from the at least one LED extends no less than 2 inches from the front portion of the RLT wall.
- 20. The RLT bench of claim 16 wherein the RLT panel has a thickness of at least 0.5 inches.

Red light therapy system for bathing environment Cross Reference to Related Applications The present application claims priority from U.S. provisional patent application No. 63/717,219, entitled "red light therapy System for bath Environment" (RED LIGHT THERAPY CONCEPTS), filed on 6/11/2024, the entire contents of which are incorporated herein by reference. Technical Field The present disclosure relates generally to a Red Light Therapy (RLT) system for a bathing environment. Background Red Light Therapy (RLT) involves the use of red light of a specific wavelength to provide certain health and/or therapeutic benefits. RLT may be used to improve skin condition, relieve pain, heal wounds, and/or improve blood flow. Disclosure of Invention The present application provides a Red Light Therapy (RLT) system for use in a shower system, comprising at least one of: An RLT bulb including at least one Light Emitting Diode (LED) for providing at least one of red light and infrared light, and An RLT panel comprising at least one LED for providing at least one of red light and infrared light; Wherein the at least one LED provides light therapy to the user when the at least one LED is activated. The application also provides a Red Light Therapy (RLT) system for use in a shower system, comprising: an RLT panel, the RLT panel comprising: at least one Light Emitting Diode (LED) for providing at least one of red light and infrared light, and At least one heat sink; A shower wherein the RLT panel is positioned on a shower wall of the shower; Wherein the at least one LED provides light therapy to the user when the at least one LED is activated. Detailed Description The present invention will now be described with reference to the drawings, wherein like reference numerals are used to refer to like elements throughout. In order to clearly illustrate the features of the present invention, the drawings do not necessarily maintain the proportional relationship of the elements. Turning first to fig. 1, a shower device 1 may include several RLT panels 5, which several RLT panels 5 may be used to provide certain health and/or therapeutic benefits to a user while the user is showering. RLT panel 5 may be of any suitable shape and/or size and may include a plurality of Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) 10 capable of emitting red light. LED 10 may be a dual-chip LED having various wavelengths, including 660 nm and 850nm wavelengths. The LED 10 may be used for a specified duration and wavelength intensity. As an example, 660 nm LED can be used for 70-80% of the total intensity and 850nm LEDs can be used for 20-30% of the total intensity when 660 nm and 850nm wavelengths are used. RLT panel 5 may be positioned in shower device 1 in any suitable manner. As shown, RLT panel 5 is positioned on the side of shower device 1 that is adjacent to showerhead 15.
