CN-121989568-A - Inspection system capable of rapidly inspecting printed products
Abstract
The present invention provides an inspection system capable of rapidly performing inspection of printed products, including a display unit and an interface configured to receive data including a plurality of pages. Data is transmitted from the computer in response to a single instruction to transmit data by a user of the computer. Based on the received data, reference data is generated, and the printing unit is caused to print a plurality of pages on individual sheets. Each of the printed pages is read to generate a read image of each page. The read image of each page is checked based on the generated reference data. And displaying a check result indicating whether the read image of the page is defective or not on the display unit during checking the read image of one of the subsequent pages among the plurality of pages.

- 6. The inspection system of claim 1, wherein the interface is configured to receive a single print job, and Wherein the single print job includes the data including the plurality of pages.
- 7. The inspection system according to claim 6, further comprising a branching unit configured to branch the received data of the plurality of pages included in the single print job into data of a plurality of pages corresponding to the generated reference data and data of a plurality of pages corresponding to the created print medium.
- 8. The inspection system of claim 1, wherein the inspection result includes at least one of a number of defective pages in the inspection result, a ratio of the number of defective pages to the number of inspected pages, and a defect type of defective pages in the subsequent pages of the plurality of pages.
Description
Inspection system capable of rapidly inspecting printed products Technical Field The present disclosure relates to an inspection system capable of rapidly performing printed product inspection. Background The image forming apparatus generates a print product by printing an image on a sheet based on image data. In particular, image forming apparatuses for commercial printing sometimes print a large number of copies or a large number of pages as a print product. Furthermore, there are cases where the printed product is checked for quality of the printed product. In this case, in the inspection apparatus, a read image obtained by reading the printed product using, for example, a scanner is compared with a reference image, and the quality of the printed product is inspected based on the comparison result. Further, it is necessary to register the reference image in an inspection apparatus for performing quality inspection. For example, japanese patent laid-open No. 2023-80455 describes an apparatus that generates a reference image registration job for registering a reference image. However, in the case of using the apparatus described in japanese patent laid-open No. 2023-80455, not only a reference image registration job but also a job for forming an image to be inspected is required to be generated. Since two jobs are independently generated as described above, this causes a problem in that the inspection time of the printed product is prolonged due to the time required to generate these jobs. In particular, in the case where a large number of copies or a large number of pages are printed as a printed product, the inspection time of the printed product tends to be significantly prolonged. Disclosure of Invention The present disclosure is directed to an inspection system capable of rapidly performing inspection of printed products. The present disclosure provides an inspection system including a display unit, an interface configured to receive data including a plurality of pages, the data being transmitted from a computer in response to a single instruction to transmit the data by a user of the computer, and one or more controllers having one or more processors and one or more memories, the one or more controllers being configured to (a) generate reference data based on the received data, and (b) cause a printing unit to print the plurality of pages on individual sheets, read each of the printed plurality of pages to generate a read image of each page, inspect the read image of each page based on the generated reference data, and display, during inspection of a read image of a subsequent one of the plurality of pages, an inspection result indicating whether the read image of the page is defective on the display unit. According to the present disclosure, inspection of a printed product can be performed quickly. Features of the present disclosure will become apparent from the following description of embodiments with reference to the accompanying drawings.
