Description
Molded article The present invention relates to molded articles, in particular decorative and/or cover parts designed for molded articles of vehicles (e.g. for vehicle interior spaces and/or vehicle exterior sides). A large number of trim and/or cover parts (also referred to as trim pieces or motor vehicle interior cover parts) are installed in vehicle interior spaces such as door trim panels, consoles, and instrument panel trim panels (e.g., center console trim panels). The motor vehicle interior covering component further includes an operating button and a cover therefor. In particular, motor vehicle interior covering components also include door trim panels (e.g., door trim panels of driver doors, passenger doors, or other doors in motor vehicles), table tops, covers (e.g., covers of center consoles), panels or tables, (telescoping) panels or tables, seat covering components or seat covers (e.g., seat covering components or seat covers of driver seats or passenger seats), or floor coverings in vehicles. Furthermore, the motor vehicle interior covering may also be a visor and/or a vision protector, which may be mounted or inserted or hung in the area of one or more windows of the vehicle, in particular. A number of trim and/or cover parts (also called trim parts) are also attached to the outside of the vehicle. Such molded articles typically require light integration. However, in the case of optical integration, there is a problem in that the structural elements required for achieving optical integration are generally available with little installation space. This problem can occur in particular when lateral light coupling is required or desired. The object of the invention is to provide a new molded part, in particular a new molded part which makes efficient use of the installation space of the molded part in light integration (in particular light integration using lateral light coupling). This object is achieved by the features of claim 1. Advantageous embodiments and improvements are given in the dependent claims. The molded article according to the invention comprises a decorative panel (Dekorblende) having a front face configured as a visible face and a rear face opposite the front face, and a carrier, wherein the carrier is at least partially arranged on the rear face of the decorative panel. The trim panel includes a first light guiding layer and an opaque layer, wherein the opaque layer is disposed on a back side of the first light guiding layer. The first light guiding layer has a coupling-in region for coupling light into the first light guiding layer. The molded article according to the invention further comprises a light source unit for illuminating and/or transmitting the first light guiding layer of the decorative panel and a deflection device for deflecting light emitted from the light source unit to the coupling-in area of the first light guiding layer. The advantage of the invention is therefore, in particular, that the proposed molded part, due to the deflection device, can efficiently utilize the installation space of the molded part in the case of light integration, in particular light integration using lateral light coupling. According to an embodiment of the invention, the deflection is 90 ° to 270 °, in particular 120 ° to 240 °, for example 180 °. By deflection, the components of the light source unit can in particular be arranged behind or below the trim panel. The coupling-in region for coupling in light into the first light-guiding layer may be a lateral coupling-in region, wherein the coupling-in region is arranged in a lateral region of the first light-guiding layer. The design provides that the light source unit is arranged at the rear side of the decorative panel such that the deflection device deflects the light emitted from the light source unit arranged at the rear side of the decorative panel to the coupling-in region of the first light-guiding layer. The expression "at the back" above and below does not necessarily mean that the first component (e.g. the light source unit) of the molding has to be arranged directly and/or next to the back of the second component (e.g. the trim panel), although this is also possible. The first member should be arranged only on the side of the respective member opposite the viewing surface. It is also possible to arrange a further layer, in particular an intermediate layer, between the two components, such that the first component is arranged (only) indirectly at the rear side of the second component. The advantage of the invention is thus, in particular, that the deflection device provides the possibility of using the area under the transmitted trim panel as fully as possible, so that there is sufficient space in the X-direction (vehicle direction) so that the necessary light components can be accommodated. By the present invention, less process installation space is required in the Z direction, while there is sufficient space in the X d
