The preparation method comprises the steps of placing curcumin and diphenyl phosphine oxide into a three-necked flask, heating to a reaction temperature, starting stirring, adding triethylamine during stirring, reacting for 12 hours to obtain a first solution, carrying out suction filtration on the first solution, separating out solids in the solution to obtain a first filtrate, washing the solids with the first filtrate, carrying out suction filtration again after washing to obtain a second filtrate, mixing the first filtrate and the second filtrate, recrystallizing at room temperature, carrying out suction filtration again on the recrystallized mixture to obtain solid powder and a third filtrate, and washing the solid powder with the third filtrate to obtain the bio-based phosphorus-containing flame retardant. The bio-based phosphorus-containing flame retardant is synthesized by curcumin and diphenyl phosphine oxide, so that the flame retardance of a base material can be improved, the anti-aging capability is achieved, and the bio-based phosphorus-containing flame retardant is low in toxicity, low in taste and good in stability.

The preparation method of the bio-based phosphorus-containing flame retardant with flame retardant and antioxidant functions is characterized by comprising the following steps: S1, placing curcumin and diphenyl phosphine oxide into a three-necked flask, heating to a reaction temperature, starting stirring, adding triethylamine in the stirring process, and reacting for 12 hours to obtain a first solution; s2, carrying out suction filtration on the first solution, separating out solids in the solution to obtain a first filtrate, washing the solids with the first filtrate, and carrying out suction filtration again after washing to obtain a second filtrate; s3, mixing the first filtrate and the second filtrate, recrystallizing at room temperature, carrying out suction filtration on the recrystallized mixture again to obtain solid powder and third filtrate, and washing the solid powder by using the third filtrate to obtain the bio-based phosphorus-containing flame retardant.

The method for preparing the bio-based phosphorus-containing flame retardant with flame retardant and antioxidant functions according to claim 1, wherein the bio-based phosphorus-containing flame retardant is MDPC, and the molar ratio of curcumin, diphenyl phosphine oxide and triethylamine is 5:5:6.

Therefore, development of a multifunctional synergistic flame retardant which is environment-friendly, efficient and has flame retardant and antioxidant functions, and adaptation to the application requirements of various polymer materials has become an urgent problem in the industry. Traditional flame retardants (e.g., brominated and chlorinated) release toxic gases (e.g., dioxins) during combustion, which pose a threat to the environment and human health. In contrast, the bio-based material is more suitable for being combined with environment-friendly flame retardants (such as phosphorus-based, nitrogen-based and silicon-based) to realize the environment-friendly flame retardant effect.
