Abstract

The invention relates to a self-adaptive-based thermally-induced solid-state dimming material, and a preparation method and application thereof. The dimming material comprises the following components of, by weight, 75% -85% of octadecyl acrylate and 0-7% of allyl methacrylate. The thermochromic solid dimming material is used for preparing a self-adaptive thermochromic PVB film. According to the invention, the powder material is embedded into the transparent resin, so that the temperature sensitivity of the film is enhanced, and the thermally-induced solid state dimming material capable of changing color in a thermally-responsive manner can be produced by using the octadecyl acrylate monomer in emulsion polymerization. The content of the octadecyl acrylate in the polymer synthesis ensures that the thermal solid state dimming material changes color at the maximum temperature of 40.2 ℃ and the visible light transmittance exceeds 90 percent. Further, by varying the allyl methacrylate content, the discoloration temperature of the film can be finely adjusted in the range of 24.5 ℃ to 39.5 ℃.

Description

Self-adaptive-based thermally-induced solid-state dimming material and preparation method and application thereof Technical Field The invention relates to the technical field of optical materials, in particular to a self-adaptive thermal solid dimming material and a preparation method and application thereof. Background The self-adaptive thermally induced solid state dimming materials refer to materials capable of changing the optical light transmittance thereof under the stimulation of external temperature. Such materials typically contain one or more polymers that are capable of changing the optical properties of the material, such as refractive index, absorption, etc., by adjusting their molecular structure in response to temperature changes. The working principle is mainly based on the change of phase change or molecular arrangement of heat sensitive components, so that the dynamic regulation and control of light rays are realized. Vanadium dioxide (VO 2) belongs to a pure thermochromic material, and the VO 2 film shows metal-to-semiconductor phase transition at a critical temperature of 68 ℃, and the doping technology can reduce the energy required by the lattice transition of the VO 2 film, so that the phase transition occurs at a lower temperature. Polymeric thermochromic films are another type of thermochromic film that is thermochromic by incorporating certain coordinated metal ions (e.g., nickel, ni, or cobalt, co) into a transparent polymer matrix, such as polyvinyl butyral (PVB). When the thermochromic material is applied to glass to prepare the thermally-induced dimming intelligent glass, the fact that the thermally-induced phase change is required to occur in a lower range matched with the daily air temperature and the color-changing temperature can be finely adjusted in a wider room temperature range is considered, and the problem to be solved in the thermally-induced dimming glass technology is urgent.
